A cool place...

The coffe is good, The atmosphere is cool. But $4.00 for a slice a cake is a bit much. The eggs and cheese breakfast wraps are always on point and the employees are characters which is why I keep going back.

Best Coffee Ever

I grew up in Church Hill when Buzzy's was Ubanks Grocery. I now live in Chesterfield and frequent Buzzy's whenever I am in the area.

My cousin lives in Minnesota and when she is in town we do a walking tour of the Hill and always stop at Captain Buzzy's.

Normally it is the best ever and I like it better than Starbucks and love the atmosphere. The coffee is to die for.

In March my cousin was in town on business and we went to Capt. Buzzy's , the girl who waited on us told me she did not know how to make any of the specialty coffees on the menu, I thought she was joking.

She wasn't and we left and returned a day or so later and she repeated her story.

Needless to say i have not been back since. I am not saying I will never return but it surely upset both of us.

Good Coffee, great place to hang in Church Hill

Captain Buzzy's is a great place to hang. They have good coffee plus interesting, friendly and talkative staff. They offer free WiFi for hanging out with your laptop. They offer quite a few food items also. The ones I have tried are good. The location is in the Church Hill area, in an old building with a cool decor. Plenty of tables and comfortable chairs to go around.
