Packing in only local products, Crossroads features Richmond favorites such as rotating flavors of Bevs Ice cream, a number of Tammy Rostovs teas, and deserts by the 80 year old hometown hero, Quality Bakery. Not just for java, the eatery transcends the chain beanery stigma by offering a hearty selection of panini sandwiches, bagels, and vegetarian treats (try the Chili). The Ultimate Grilled Cheese ($5.50), made with three kinds of chesses, tomatoes, and pesto is perfectly grilled on a panini and difficult to finish due to its sheer size. Milkshakes, like Espresso Oreo, and smoothies, sporting names of nearby streets ($2.50), top off the perfect neighborhood experience. Tip the barista and stroll through Forest Hill Park.
