Crossroads Is coffee! Can't think of a better coffee shop in th United States of America than Crossroads. Both shops-Forest hill and Morris- are excellent, Will and Olivia went to Costa Rica to learn how to be wonderful baristas! What they make, I drink! Kona is my favorite--I always take a bag home to drink when I can't get to the shops. Both owners are so laid-back , kind and easy going, it just relaxes us to be near them! My husband doesn't drink coffee (how strange!) but he loves the panninis, ice cream , salads, and soups!! You could eat here forever and never get bored! I don't know if the angels drink coffee, but if they do-it has to be from Crossroads!! orever!
Pros: Could not be better

Crossroads Coffee and Ice Cream has been my home away from home since it opened. The affordable and delicious menu of Bev's home made ice cream ,Rostov's coffee, the variety of specialty teas, coffees, milk shakes, smoothies(Coffee smoothie =amazing),baked goods, soups , and sandwiches are an important part of its appeal. All of this is uniquely seasoned by the hospitality , friendliness and caring attitude of the owners and employees and the nostalgic atmosphere of Crossroads with its homey and comfortable decor. My cousin and a good friend ,both of whom are in wheel chairs, have also enjoyed visiting with my family and me at both Crossroads and always look forward to returning.Whether I go to Crossroads to fellowship with friends and family ,chat with the baristas, attend a meeting, go to the monthly book club, stop by after a walk in the park with my dog who is eager for her treat from the "paws" jar,or snatching a few moments to read or enjoy alone time , I always leave this unique place feeling far better than when I came. What better news could there be than to say Crossroads now has a second location near VCU-- a double blessing for all who want the experience of enjoying a home a way from home.

I visited the FAN location on N. Morris today and learned that the owners have a policy of allowing anyone to park in the only handicap parking spot when the lot is busy. This leaves no where for people with disabilities to park who need additional space and a level parking space. When I questioned a patron who was in the process of parking illegally in the ONLY handicap spot, I was told to mind my own business. The manager later told me about the policy when I told this patron what I thought about his lack of respect for others. When I asked the manager why he would allow this to happen, I was told to stop making trouble in his restaurant. Needless to say this will be my last visit to Crossroads. Any business that does not honor and welcome all patrons does not deserve my business. As a resident of the Fan, I pride myself in supporting the local, non-chain businesses. I will continue to do this, just not this particular business.
Pros: Location; non-chain
Cons: Wait is long; Owners and staff do not welcome People with Disabilities

Never bad service - friendly faces greet you as you walk in the door and the coffee/tea is always spot on. So much more to offer than other coffee shops. Keep up the great work.
Pros: Everything except...
Cons: space. If it's busy, good luck finding a place to sit.

Definitely worth a visit! Hard to find a really good coffee place anymore, as Starbucks has driven them all out of business. This one is quite a gem

I love coming to this coffee shop, it really reminds you what places like Starbucks lack. The staff is incredibly friendly, there is a sense of local culture and neighborhood charm. The ambience is ecletic and comforting (doesn't have cookie cutter corporate feel). Great place to relax, read, or word. I find out about a lot of local events from billings posted here. Also, free wi-fi! What could be better! Great food selection- many vegetarian option. This is a top notch coffee spot and just what Richmond needs!

Picture this: neighbors sharing a cup of Joe, kids sampling specialty milkshakes, massage therapists offering up a squeeze with your Chai tea, pets sitting with patrons on the curve, and tons of homemade goodies. Packing in only local products, Crossroads features Richmond favorites such as rotating flavors of Bevs Ice cream, a number of Tammy Rostovs teas, and deserts by the 80 year old hometown hero, Quality Bakery. Not just for java, the eatery transcends the chain beanery stigma by offering a hearty selection of panini sandwiches, bagels, and vegetarian treats (try the Chili). The Ultimate Grilled Cheese ($5.50), made with three kinds of chesses, tomatoes, and pesto is perfectly grilled on a panini and difficult to finish due to its sheer size. Milkshakes, like Espresso Oreo, and smoothies, sporting names of nearby streets ($2.50), top off the perfect neighborhood experience. Tip the barista and stroll through Forest Hill Park.
Pros: friendly, inexpensive, stylish
