great vet!

We just switched from Betty Baugh's in the west end when we moved to the east end. Dr. Jack imediately found an ear and gland infection that the other vet missed. She costs a lot less too.
- Pros: Great service, reasonable prices
- Cons: ?
best EVER

I am sad i will be leaving churchill but will continue to use Dr. Jack or Dr. Clay. Hands down best in Richmond, and best I have experienced to date.

Best Veterinary Hospital in Richmond

I've been taking my pets to Dr. Jack for over 2 years and couldn't be happier with the service. The staff and Dr. Jack are so kind and caring. I wouldn't take my animals anywhere else.
- Pros: Convenient location, caring staff, excellent service
Dr. Jack and her staff really give a Hoot!

For us it is about a 40 minute drive to her office, it is well worth the trip. Dr. Jack is a very caring and experienced vet. She takes the time to explain exactly what is going on with your pet. Her office is immaculate, warm and friendly. Her clients are very diverse - which attests to her genuine love of animals and her people-friendly manner. Her staff are the best - even when things are very hectic at times! It's refreshing to finally find a vet for our cats who is not pushing expensive meds or treatments that may not always be necessary. Very highly recommended!
Highly Recommend!

I agree with the below comment - Dr Jack has the best balance of care for your pets, and sensitivity to the owner. She is great about answering questions, giving honest advice, and only running tests where necessary to the health of the animal. My dogs really don't seem to mind going in for shots and checkups - she makes it as un-traumatic as possible, and therefore its a pleasure to keep going back and to give her my recommendation.
The best vet I've ever been to

Dr. Jack is the best. She not only cares about your pets, she cares about the owner too. She is not only the friendliest, but is way more affordable than other vets. When we took our cats in for feline leukemia tests, she was concerned if we really needed the tests because of the price and the fact that there is no known cure so there is nothing you can do to really treat the disease. Also, when we picked up a lost dog that was darting in and out of traffic, she gave it a check-up for free.
Great vet! Really cares about your pet!!!

Dr, jack is truly and excellent vet! The office is always clean, the staff is friendly and the time and care given to your pet each visit is excellent. My pet was diagnosed with heart disease, Dr. Jack was able to give me a referral to an outstanding specialist and the office followed up on the status of my pet. I would recommend this vet's office highly!
Caring, conscientious vet and staff

You can tell Dr. Jack cares about animals - there are strays waiting for adoption in the waiting room, a kitty with a balance disorder in the bathroom, and others roaming the halls. The office is super-busy so you may have to wait but it's worth it.
9/16/07 Still standing by my five-star review of Dr. Jack and CAH...but wondering why Holly Hilton couldn't be happier yet only gives a rating of average?!? Also, I think the wait time has decreased with the addition of another vet.
- Pros: Excellent vet care, great prices
Dr. Jack is a saint.
by rileyrol
Dr. Jack is a very personable caring vet. She took a lot of time with me when my Siamese was in kidney failure. She and her staff obviously care about their patients - both feline and human. When the end finally came and it seemed that my at-home vet was not going to be available to euthanize my kitty at home, Dr. Jack offered to come to my house after her office closed so my precious 15 year old cat wouldn't be put to sleep in a strange place.....Also, her fees were well below what I expected. An office visit and overnight stay at Church Hill Vet was less than a check up with our previous vet practice in the West End.
- Pros: caring, compassionate, honest
