I was having a problem and needed to see a dermatologist ASAP. I called my previous dermatologist and since I had not been there in almost 2 years was told I would be considered a new patient and that I would have to wait 10 months for an appointment!! I panicked and called my GP for a referral and she recommended Stacy Romero, nurse practitioner at Midlo. Dermatology. I called and had an appointment within 3 days. I was very impressed and my diagnosis was for a very rare condition. Stacy was relentless in getting to the bottom of it and treating it. I have referred EVERYONE I know who is in need of a dermatologist to her. I live in Hanover so I had to travel a ways to get to her office, but it was well worth it. I have been back several times for other things.
Pros: Easy scheduling, great doctors
Cons: wish they had an office on the north side of the river!

I was impressed when I called the office I talked to a very inviting young lady. I was very surprised to hear that I could have an appointment as early as the next day. All others that I had called told me that it would be at least a month before I could get an appointment. Dr. Bohannan was very nice and knowledgeable. I am so pleased with the treatment that she prescribed for me, it worked like a charm. I have tried just about everything including the famous Proactive that didn’t even work for me but Dr. Bohannan did. I don’t mind paying for results; I think Midlothian Dermatology is very reasonable it’s just like going to any other Dr’s office. Also the medication that she prescribed me is very reasonable (with my insurance of course) it is cheaper than most over the counter solutions. I would recomed Dr. Bohannan to anyone who is looking for a permanent solution to acne.
Pros: In and out quick, very satisfied with service.
Cons: can't think of any.

I completely disagree with the other review posted. I've been to Dr. Bohannon-Grant on several occassions--for reasons both medical and cosmetic--and have never had a long wait. The staff is always courteous and I feel very confident under Dr. Jo's hand. The pricing is a little higher than other places I checked into, but she has an excellent reputation and even teaches other doctors about different procedures. Plus her conversation makes you comfortable--she's really a hoot!
Pros: Great doctor, friendly staff, reasonable wait time
Cons: A little costlier than others, but she's one of the best!

The staff came across as snooty. Pricing is not that competitive - there are other dermatologists offering the same services for a lot less in Richmond. Dr. Bohannon is very knowledgeable but as stated before if I am going to spend that kind of money I expect that I'll be treated nicely and not be subjected to someone's bad mood.
Pros: Dr. Bohannon is very talented at what she does
Cons: Office wait times, pricing of services and snooty staff.
