There is no question that this shop has beautiful merchandise and prestigious labels. I don't know if sales are frequent but the sample sale I saw when I was there offered fabulous markdowns. Unfortunately, my experience there was not great. I live 50 miles away and decided to visit the store one day when I just happened to be in the area. I phoned ahead to get directions. I told the person on the phone that I didn't have an appointment but just wanted to browse and would not require personal attention. She said that was fine. When I arrived I noticed a group of designer gowns at great markdowns. I was told that the other gowns were in the main salon past some glass doors and I was anxious to see them. The gowns were exceptionally nice. There were 2 people sitting there waiting for a girl who was trying on dresses so I was careful not to disturb them. After a few minutes a sales lady stopped me and said that I needed a sales person and an appointment to see those gowns. When I phoned I was not told I couldn't see the dresses without an appointment. The sales lady basically escorted me out and I felt both embarrassment and irritation. I won't be ordering a gown from them. You may not always remember every word someone says to you but you will always remember how they made you feel! I'm sure that most people who go there won't have the same experience. On the positive side Bella Rosa does have gorgeous gowns with quality handwork and luxurious fabrics. Just don't expect to be allowed to look at dresses without a sales person -- and be sure not to go without an appointment!
Pros: Some of the best designers and a good selection.
Cons: Browsers without appointments are persona non grata
