Starlite has always been one of my favorite FAN bars. It's a bar first -- a smoky, crowded place filled with cool 20-somethings on nights and weekends. It's a restaurant second -- the food is decent, especially the chicken starlite. During lunch, you might even run into grandpa.
Pros: good food, good people watching, inexpensive
Cons: crowded, smoky, long wait for seating
