Although the setting was elegant and beautiful, the wedding coordinator was a little too casual and inefficent for such an important occasion. Ex. Elements of the Lord's Supper were not ready for the wedding (unopened grape juice and wafer and uncovered--even tho' supplies were furnished. Groom had to open and assemble during ceremony. Highly offensive to those present with religious faith)
At one point someone had to go looking for coordinator (for bridesmaid flowers and greeters--she was found chatting and eating a popscicle with other staff members). She was very casual and inefficent.
- Pros: Beautiful setting, delicious food
- Cons: Wedding Coordinator too casual, inefficent""

Setting the Stage
It's no wedding reception at a warm, tropical island--but hosting guests at The Gardens at Sunday Park could serve as a closer (and cheaper) substitute. Picture an immaculate white gazebo overlooking a lake, sailboats skimming by, gardens tempting guests to stroll through them once the reception ends. Schedule your big event in the evening to take advantage of the fabulous sunset and you'll have yet another reason to celebrate.
Details, Details
The rental fee for weekend receptions is $2,000, although you should add $500 more if you want the ceremony at the same site. The package includes a 7-hour block of time and use of the gardens, grounds, restrooms and the playground. Tables and chairs are also available, and the couple receives a gift certificate for two at Sunday's Restaurant on their first anniversary.
