Theatrics next door are nothing compared to the theatrics inside this Mongolian barbecue house.

The Scene
Come for the fun, not fine dining. The premise is simple: Choose your own meat and vegetables from a raw bar and then have "chefs" stir-fry your meal on the spot. Special groups, curious kids and Barksdale Theater-goers crowd around the BBQ pit as high-energy chefs keep a running commentary while they grill. Things get really boisterous if the house is packed.
The Food
Some start with the too-predictable soup and salad bar, but others dig right into the main event. Be forewarned: Your server may forget to mention it, but read the recipe cards on your table before putting together your meal. You'll have choices of beef, chicken, pork, lamb and seafood, lots of veggies, special oils, sauces and a huge array of spices to combine. Following the recipe suggestions ensures a properly seasoned, proportioned stir-fry combo instead of a soggy mess or dried-out dinner. Vegetarians love the creative combo possibilities.
Meat... lots of it

Unlimited Meat. That;s really all I need to say. But, I'll add that there are limitless combinations of food, spices, sauces. The cooks are great entertainment. For added kick, read the message on the side of your choptisk container (you'll notice some intriguing spelling and grammar.) Perhaps the best restaurant in Richmond? Yeah
- Pros: MEAT, Cheap, Great Fun
