The food was below par and the service really sucked. I will never go back there again I wouldn't waist your money on this place.
Pros: non
Cons: service and food

My wife and I lived in the neighborhood, and decided to stop in this restaurant. We did not know what to expect, but we are definitely glad that we stopped. It’s a simple restaurant and is not designed to be romantic. We found the food to be surprisingly good considering the ambiance (or lack there of) and the price. The waitstaff gets the job done, but will not win any awards. The only thing that keeps us from going back is that we live much farther away. We ate their several times before we moved, and have stopped by when we were in the area. I was actually considering going their today, except I found out on this site that they are closed on Sunday (today). Otherwise, I would choose this place over many of the more expensive places in Richmond.
Pros: food quality, price, speed of service
Cons: Waitstaff, location is somewhat out of the way

Chianti is an excellent family Italian restaurant. The food is outstanding, the fettucine alfredo is the best I've ever tasted, and the service is great without being snobbish. The prioces are vey reasonable. If you want to try a great Italian restaurant on the West End, go to Chianti.
Pros: food, service, location

When it comes to Italian food in Richmond, this is it. The food is excellent, particularly the Rigatoni di Michelangelo. The wait staff are attentive and make helpful recommendations. The cannolli is the best I've tasted outside of New York City!!!
Pros: good value, easy parking, great food

It's not the best Italian restuarant in Richmond, but I would go back. The service is slightly annoying with snobby-for-no-reason staff. There wasnt anything exceptional but nothing really bad either.
Pros: convenient, ambiance
Cons: service

Most dishes are pretty darn good. Some are the best italian food in Richmond. However, the calamari is the worst ever - very bland -just plain wrong. Tiramasu is also weak. However, canolis are very good. Order some of the truly unique entrees. You won't be disappointed. Food is excellent and the price is right. Kids get placemats with stickers so it is a big hit with them. No too romantic. Ask your waitress about dishes before ordering so she can steer you clear of some of the bland dishes. As most italian restaurants in Richmond, the wine selection is horrible.
Pros: food, price
Cons: ambience, appetizers, wine
