The air of the shop is far from pretentious; no one talks to you like you're a moron. I have only been pierced at Red Dragon, by Cameron. He is very straightforward, professional, and the aesthetics and quality of his work are amazing. He uses the best products to ensure the utmost cleanliness in every aspect of your experience. He works with your ideas to give you the best and longest lasting life for your piercing, and is thorough in explaining what you need to do to take care of it at home. His jewelry selection is diverse, even for more intricate piercings, such as surface or microdermal procedures, but if you require a special piece, he can get it for you in no time. All of my piercings have healed wonderfully, and I don't want anyone else touching my face. I trust Cameron's abilities and I feel that they are boundless.

Pros: excellent work, fair prices, clean, awesome selection

Cons: Riding your bike to Hull St. isn't bad, but it's not great either.

I've gotten a lot of work done with Red Dragon, they really seem to unerstand what you're looking for, and have no problem helping you get your ideas onto paper. They treat each customer individually with sincere excitement about artwork in general. They recently did my chest piece and I LOVE it, It's absolutly perfect and they really listened to what I wanted. I would highly reccomend going to Red Dragon, MUCH better than other shops in the area!

Pros: Great Artists

Cons: Recoptionist was snooty

From the time I went in there they seemed real cool and really genuine about helping you out. They have a very wide selection of tattoos that you can chose from. None of them were rude and they were very, very patient with everything. My girlfriend and myself both went in to get one and I was fine but my girl was a little nervous. They were reassuring and didn't put any pressure on us and they were able to answer any questions we had. The sheet they give after it's done is very detailed on how to care for your tattoo. They encouraged us to call back with any questions we had and we did in fact, and each time I called back with the smallest question, they were more than happy to answer it. VERY VERY GOOD.As long as you got money to spend they will hook you up.

I finally picked out a small tattoo ( WAY over priced!) The guy who did it was cold and didn't have any compassion that I was nervous. STILL I came back the next day with another friend to get another tattoo and she got one too. She made noises of pain and was probably quite hard to work on BUT he came in the room to where I was still getting inked and called her BITCHY. How rude. She just paid BUCKS to have him mock her...UNCOOL. I liked my second artist better...(Gully?) The 1st guy still talked bad about my friend weeks later to another friend who went there. TACKY and Bad buisness. I will try another place next time I get a tattoo. If you liked being mocked or made to feel you are a wimp...feel free to go to the red dragon.....but no thanks for me.

Pros: good work, clean, gully was nice!!!

Cons: snotty, no kids inside., really pricey

At the Hull Street location, I just had one of the most fun, comfortable experiences of my life. These guys are GREAT! From the second I came in, I immediately felt welcome and comfortable (despite the slightly discouraging location). Never having had any ink or body piercing before, I was concerned about being taken advantage of... not the case! Christena and Nick in particular were outstanding in their patience and humor. I got two custom tattoos and a navel jewel. It was all handled very professionally - comfort level seeming to be a priority for them. Their sense of humor, dedication to the art combined with privacy rooms made a potentially novice-embarrassing experiece a treat to remember! As a VERY exacting consumer, I highly recommend them for the incredible artwork, craftmanship and outstanding customer service - A MUST. You guys have a new convert and vocal advocate...way to go!

Pros: service oriented, reassuring, incredible artwork

Cons: slightly tough area, parking shortage

I went in about a week ago for my first tattoo. I already had a design drawn out and I walked in without an appointment. Frank was there and he made a stencil of my design and did a great job. I had it done on my lower back and it looks EXACTLY like my drawing. Everyone tells me how great it looks and I can't wait to go back to get another done.

After much research, and many customer recommendations. I called up Red Dragon tattoo. I spoke with Jeff who was very helpful and professional. I went in the next day with billions of pictures, and helped me to pick out a tattoo within my budget. He did a beautiful custom color job of a rose and tribal vine across my Lower back. He made color alterations to the design to make sure it had debth and definition. The entire tattoo took about 1 hour. He was very patient and calming. Everyone thinks is is awesome, and comments that the artist did a superior job in clean lines and color. Jeff did a wonderful job, and I plan on definitely going back and getting more tattoos
