Beautiful setting! The place is strikingly eye pleasing. I went with my boyfriend for a romantic evening. The food was unexplainably delicious. However, or waitor, Becky was very unprofessional. She was polite, but didn't remember what wine we ordered, and did not even display the bottle. She left are drinks unfilled, but Brad came along and helped her out. I reccommend asking for him when going and order anything it is all delicious!

Pros: Food, atomosphere

Cons: service

The perfect place for couples looking for something special. Carefully prepared dishes that never disappoint. The wine list is great for all budgets, dine inside or out, this is probably the best restaurant in town.

We came with high expectations which were mostly confirmed with notable exceptions. The food was exquisite. Succulent, home-made gnoccis, finger-licking scallops on a bed of sweet potatoes, and thick and delicately cooked, delicious grouper on the tastiest mashed potatoes I've ever tasted. The downside came in the service: The wait staff had no knowledge of Dubonnet, and the bar didn't have two of our aperitif call drinks. To top it off, when we wanted a waiter, we had to go and tackle one down even though there were only three full tables in the entire restaurant. Would have been a memorable evening if the service had matched the quality of the food.

Pros: Exquisite food, Beautiful ambiance

Cons: service

The co-owners of Acacia have done it again, Chef Dale Reitzer, (with Chef Bill Foster in charge), wife Aline Reitzer (who decorated Paysanne) and Jim O'Toole ( who manages it) have replaced the Frog & Redneck with a exceptionally fine restaurant with a varied and skillfully prepared menu that lives up to the excellence established by Acacia. Serving both lunch and dinner it opens up a new source of imaginative dining. The selecction is both varied and tasty with outstanding visual presentation and service. It is worthy of your patronage.

Pros: food preparation, reasonable prices, excellent service

Cons: need more menu select, more daily specials

I had a exceptional dinner at acacia this past week and I wanted to offer due credit, i was surprised to read these past reviews. I was entertaining a client and with acacia's reputation and my past experiences knew this was the place. Acacia is all about small touches, from the lanterns up the stairs to the staff welcoming you at the door to individual press pots of coffee. We had great service, very professional. Our server helped us select an off the beaten track bottle of wine. Since their menu changes daily, the chef had just picked up softshells from his fisherman, I had to have them, they were the best i had ever had. My client had the famous beet salad and raved about his blk seabass. As expected I was very pleased w/our dining experience and can't wait for my next visit.
