Most Expensive Bath Ever!!!!! Ridiculous!
3 Star Rating: Average

My dog goes there for therapy, which is very very good, excellent feedback after the sessions, etc. No complaint there whatsoever and although it is expensive, it's close by and I don't have to drive an hour to pay a fortune just for him to swim in a pool. However. He just had the most expensive bath I have ever paid for. Since he was already there for the day, I thought I'd have them give him a bath. The price started at $35 (quoted on the phone), but then I asked for special shampoo for sensitive skin, so that bumped it up to a "medicated bath" and I didn't ask the specific price, never expecting that it would bump up by $13!!!! Then they asked "want his nails trimmed and his ears wiped out?" Sure I thought, that's always been a part of any other bath I've gotten anywhere else. I'm thankful I told him his glands didn't need anything (that's usually a part of a bath at other places I've used also). They never said anything about it being extra, and I *assumed* (yes, I know where that was my mistake) that they were just asking because he might have a problem with those areas that they should know about. I pick him up and the bath was $48, the ears were charged as "ear flushing" costing $22 and the nail trim was $18!!!!! Are you flipping kidding me????? NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER AGAIN! In retrospect, I should have been more suspicious. I had asked about a single vaccine that my dog needed and they quoted me $45 just for the vaccine and another ridiculous amount for the office visit, I said thanks but no thanks. Be warned, when they say "do you want?" ask "How much?"

Pros: Great therapy program, but expensive

Cons: Don't get baths here, ridiculously expensive!!! $18 nail trims and $22 ear cleaning
