I absolutely love Images, in fact, I have been going to them for about 3 years now. When I moved to California and came back to visit, I scheduled an appt. on my trip home. They are warm, experienced, and most of all listen to your wants and needs. Right now I live in Northern VA and I still come down there and get my hair done when Im visiting friends. They all understand the concepts of coloring hair and cutting hair as well, which is difficult to come by in one salom, usually a salon is good at one or the other. Just recently I cheated on Images and went to a salon up here; I was sooo extremely disappointed by how my hair turned out, since that experience I've realized that when you find a great salon, sitck with it! I rate them an 11!

I have been a client at Images for almost 7 years. I love the convenient location in the Fan, the convenient and extended hours of the staff, and the friendly atmosphere. The fact that the owners/operators are always on site is a big plus. The shop is unassuming and low keyed. It is a relaxing atmosphere and the staff is very helpful. The prices are great, too.

I almost never write reviews for places, but my experience at Images compelled me to. I normally hate going to hair salons because my hair is unbelievably thick and curly, making it pretty time consuming to get it cut or colored. That's why I was so suprised to have actually enjoyed my experience at Images! My appointment was with Maya, who was easily able to interpret exactly what I wanted while also helping me decide to get highlights for the first time. She was extremely professional and took her time (even with my massive amount of hair) to make sure my partial-foil highlights were perfect. Maya also gave me a killer cut that was flattering to my curls- exactly what I wanted. To make an already great day even better, they give discounts to students. This was on top of Images' already extremely reasonable prices (needless to say, I tipped generously). Two days later and I've never received so many compliments on my hair before! All the ladies at Images were so sweet, too (not to mention Images' adorable and lazy canine greeter). This really is a relaxed and fun salon to visit, with none of the pretension that one often finds in salons. I'm definitely looking forward to my next visit.
Pros: Awesome service, great value
Cons: Parking during lunch time can be a bit of a pain since it's next to a popular resteraunt
