Fake reviews? Nobody types out a whole paragraph describing their salon experiences. Fake reviews. Place is probably run by a bunch of porch monkeys.

Visions is the place to go for a complete hair cutting experience. Gregory is the most talented stylist I have ever gone to. He has the knowledge and experience to make you look wonderful. The staff and other stylists are always friendly and a pleasure to know. I would encourage anyone who wants the total experience to check out Gregory and Visions. You won't be sorry you did.

Gregory has been cutting my hair since he became an apprintice about 12 years ago. Every cut has been top notch and he has always taken excellent care of me. I am always complimented on my hair style and I never hesitate to recommend Visions and Gregory.

Before Gregory started styling my hair, I used to think the $12.00 "Super Cuts" was adequate for me, after all, I am a guy with short hair and how can going to a stylist make a difference? First of all Gregory does not use clippers to cut my hair, he uses scissors to create a layered effect, which looks good the day of the haircut as well as 7 weeks later when my hair has grown in. Furthermore, Gregory is able to cut my thin hair so that it looks thicker while still making it appear as though I have a full head of hair. Further, Gregory and all of the staff, The Desk manager, hair washers and other stylists, always have a smile and show true professionalism and enthusiasm for what they do. Bottom line? Gregory is a top notch stylist who has earned my business for the past 7 years and I have since been to other places in Manhattan (while on business) and in Fort Lauderdale that do not hold a candle to Gregory and Visions. On a side note, I live and work in the West End, and find it a treat to go to the fan to get a haircut as it gives me an excuse to eat out across the street at Sticky Rice, or down at White Dog or Easy Street. I see the location as a side benefit.

Thanks to all the reviewers out there who said so many great things about Aleen, you were right! I went for the first time last night and I was only going to get a simple haircut just to test the waters. Aleen liked the picture I brought in and jumped right into giving me the cut that I wanted. Eventually we started talking about coloring my hair and she showed me all the choices I had with hair color. Although I have highlighted my hair for years I never remembered any stylist really discussing so many options with me so I decided to go for it. After the color was applied I sat reading my magazine wondering if I was about to be sorry for not sticking to the simple haircut plan. But I'm so glad I didn't, I LOVE my hair. The many compliments that I've received at work today have only proved that Aleen knew exaclty what she was doing. Thank you so much.

This was my first haircut in Richmond and I absolutely loved it. I was very nervous going in because I was doing something very different and I've never been able to find a good hair stylist. I'm so glad that I went in! Aleen was my stylist and she made me feel so at home immediately. Her apprentice took fantastic care of my hair and made it feel like new. This is one of the only times that I've left a salon feeling sooo good about my hair. The cost was more than I would usually pay (50 + tip) but it was completely worth it. The whole experience was wonderful and I highly recommend Visions for their great service, great location, and a not too shabby price range.

I randomly picked Visions out of the phone book after getting THE WORST haircut of my life at Great Clips. My hair was WAY past any hope of looking any better than horrible and it was SO short I didn't think anyone could fix it. As soon as I walked in the door of Visions though, everyone there was so helpful. Aleen sat down with me and helped me look through many pictures to try to find something that worked. Almost every stylist in the building was playing with my hair trying to find any possible way to fix it. They made me feel amazing, like a celebrity, from the when I walked in, to the shampooing and cutting, until I walked out the door with the most adorable hairstyle I've ever had. Aleen is wonderful!

I have lived in Richmond for 10 years now and I have always had the hardest time finding someone to cut my hair. I got this super-fantastic cut when I was in Italy for my honeymoon and I hadn't let anyone touch my hair since then. I decided to try Visions on a whim and made an appointment with Stephanie. I brought in a photo that sort of reminded me of the infamous "italian" cut, told her I wanted a change and let her do her thing. The cut she gave was ever better than the one I had gotten before. I highly recommend Stephanie, she really listens to you yet still keeps it appropriate for your face shape and lifestyle!

Lauren has been doing my hair for over a year and a half and does a beautiful job everytime!!! I am very picky but I always leave very happy!!!

Pros: she does a great job
