The Jefferson is a beautiful hotel with great staff and wonderful rooms. The concierge is very knowledgeable and helpful. The weekend packages that include Sunday brunch are amazing. There are many things to do in Richmond and the hotel is located to things downtown.

The Scene
This national historic landmark dates back to 1895. With its tapestries, faux-marble columns and Tiffany stained-glass skylights, it retains the grandeur of the Victorian era. Every aspect of this place bears a customized feel, from the Frette linens and bathrobes in the guest rooms to the unique setting of Lemaire restaurant, which features eight separate, intimate dining areas.
The Details
The 264 guest rooms and suites offer over 50 different styles. They are graced with high ceilings, sweeping windows and custom furnishings such as mahogany armoires. The tone is upscale residential, with warm brown tones and a hint of American colonial style. Among the suites is the 1,800-square-foot Presidential Suite, with a baby grand piano in the parlor and a marble balcony that overlooks Franklin Street. Additional facilities include a fully-equipped fitness center, an indoor pool with discreet outdoor sundeck and 18 meeting and event rooms. The hotel can accommodate weddings up to 500.
