This could be a great place but the smoke was way too thick, and makes for a terrible experience. Otherwise, if the owner would prohibit smoking, it would be a Wonderful place.

Pros: great music

Cons: smoking

5 Star Rating: Highly Recommended

Cabo's is a restaurant that I patronize on a regular basis. The food is ALWAYS good and the price is fair. If you are lucky enough to be there when there's a chef's tasting, DO IT! The dishes will never be boring! The portions ARE dwindling in size; however, you will still leave with a full stomach... you just won't have anything additional to take home for tomorrow's lunch. There is always an option to sit on the "calm" side should you not wish to be in the same section as the band.

Pros: additional parking, good bartender, atmosphere

4 Star Rating: Recommended

Cabos is one of my favorite restaurants in all of Richmond...however, it is going downhill. Not that the food is getting bad, it is just that the portions seem to be getting smaller and smaller. Also, their salad/appetizer selection is a little thin. The Dessert (especially the Creme Brulee) is out of this world. The one drawback to the wonderful Jazz is the ear splitting vocals (someone tell them to turn down the speakers a few notches).

Pros: Great Menu & Specials, Good Bar, Music is excellent

Cons: Expensive, Small Portions, LOUD
