Romantic Atmosphere and Great Bar. D&M is a great place for a first date! Small tables, but cozy. Wonderful food and great team service. The long wood bar is a great hang out for their Martini Happy Hour. It's rarely too crowded, so the service is usually pretty efficient. As a regular, I have always enjoyed my time there. Music ranges from jazz during dinner to classic rock, oldies, motown, and jam music late at night. Highly recommended! Remember...they won't split your check for you, but you can pay separately! Ceiling fans, tiny tables and jazz warbles create a Fitzgerald-esque atmosphere perfect for post-theater dinners. The owner is a transplanted New Yorker, so you won't be shooed out the door when you want to linger.



The Food
Don't let the deceptively simple menu fool you. The stuffed artichoke hearts are fried with Swedish fontina cheese; the spinach and sweet potato salad has pecans, portobellos and a roasted garlic dressing. A grilled duck breast dish came with a Granny Smith apple and cranberry puree. The nightly pasta, seafood and vegetarian specials would please even the pickiest eater. Pass on the store-bought ice cream and uninspired dessert selections.…
