User Reviews for Stuart Components Incorporated

5 Star Rating: Highly Recommended

When I built my first home ten years ago, I was slightly disappointed, with it, so contacted Stuart Components a few years later, because they had such a good reputation. I met with a man named Neil Ingram who was most professional; he gave me printed estimates and drawings of just what would be done, and I was very pleased with the outcome. The men were polite and efficient, and everything was done to my satisfaction. Thank you Stuart components!

Pros: Nice people to work with.

Cons: None I recall.

I had my home built by Neil, and he was SUCH a darlin' thing...everything he said he would do, he did, no fooling! I wanted an addition, and he got her done...I wanted marble steps, I got them...whatever I wanted, Neil was right there, either on the job or on the phone, getting me whatever my little heart desired. When I added features, he told me how much more something like that would cost, so there were no surprises. I would certainly do business with them again!

Pros: Honesty and integrity

Cons: none

As everyone knows, you simply can't please everyone - some folks would cry if you gave them a 100 dollar bill, because they'd find something wrong with it! Neil Ingram is one of the most forthright and honest individuals I've ever met or done business with! Honest to a fault, he'll bend over backwards to make a customer happy...I wish more businessmen were like him. I've been in the building industry since 1972, and have nothing but respect for the man.

Pros: Work ethic, working with Neil personally, and forward-thinking ideas!

Cons: I didn't notice any

Ditto to most everyone else...this company is truly horrible. They began working on our small addition back in July and it is now Dec. 19 and they still are not finished. For the first 2 months, they showed up one day a week-maybe! Then they made it to a couple of days. Our project manager is the worst...he really could care less about our project and the owner is very condescending and could care less about you after you sign on the dotted line. We have communicated by email and by phone but owner does not get it and will not help to get the job done. Our sales person nor the owner have never once contacted us even though they know how we feel after several emails back and forth about how awful their company truly is. PLEASE DON'T PUT YOURSELF INTO A PROJECT WITH THEM....RESEARCH!

Pros: None

Cons: Reliability, workmanship, extreme time taken to finish project, owner, subs

I was sub-contracted to do a promotional video for Stuart Components and I had the opportunity to video tape some jobs completed, some in progress and to interview previous customers. Everything I saw was highly positive and the workmanship was excellent. I have been in the video business for about 20 years and I have run into problems that were not expected, but in every situation, by communicating with each other and being as honest and helpful as possible, the problems were rectified. Never have I seen someone as vindictive as this svilla fellow. Construction is wood and nails and everything can be repaired, but not if you hide behind a computer and spew out hatred to try and destroy a man's livelyhood. From what I have seen about Stuart Components, if everyone who had work done and completely satisfied were to put up a review on these sites, this svilla's review would be a piece of brown rice in a bowl of white. There will always be problems in every type of business but the way to resolve them is by working things out face to face. I have known Neil Ingram for many years. He has been my Sunday school teacher for over seven years and I have videotaped his daughters wedding, along with weddings he performed as a Pastor. I cannot believe he would not do everything he can to help fix this thing if svilla would get off his platform and stop his harassment. I am sure svilla will reply to this, if it in fact does get printed. I don't know what he does for a living, but I am also sure that if everyone that has been unhappy with him at his work were to start a campaign as he did, he wouldn't of had the money to have work done to his house in the first place. Let he who is without sin, cast the first stone. Stop crying and start talking. Wood and cement can be repaired.

Pros: The company itself.

Cons: Sorry, they hire humans

My wife and I are having a project completed at our home. Neil Ingram and his staff have been extremely helpfull to us during this proccess. We had four estimates done when this project began. We made our decision to go with Stuart Components based on their professionalism and prior project viewing. It was a no brainer to go with Neil and his team. Right from the beginning, they have walked us though what to expect and when it should happen. They even gave us a printed timeline of when to expect each aspect of our project to be competed. They have finished ahead of schedule on every turn. I have not experienced any pressure from Neil to pay on any terms other than that we agreed upon at the time we decided to go forward with this project. I hope that anyone out there planning a project will consider Stuart Components. You will not be disappointed.

Pros: Neil, Ron, Lou, and Jeff

Cons: None

They did a great job and I would trust them with anything. Never have I found a contractor that I could trust as well as call my friend. They completed a several hundred thousand dollar job, on time, in budget, and "looking great." They even followed thru with all of our touchups!

Pros: Foreman, owner, subs, and in house people

Cons: none

I am actually shocked someone would have anything bad to say about this company. Let me first say, Better Buisness Bureau record is great. Oh and by the way for the amount of time they have been in business, 4 or 5 complaints isn't bad. They did a phenomenal job on my home. They are some of the most honest contractors I have met. I would recommend Stuart Components Inc. to anyone.
