whoa. all of the reviews here are reaaallly old. well, there's a new ride called the dominator, which im riding tomorrow and which is supposed to be really really really cool. and its still as awesome as its always been. DEFINITELY GO TO KD!!!!! lots of things to do, youll never get tired of it, great water park, good for kids any age, but especially teens, and adults too. GO TO KD!!!

Pros: everything

Cons: maybe bathrooms?, but hey, its an amusement park =]

I THINK THIS PARK SHOULD BE NUMBER 1 NOT 2 BECAUSE FOR THE AMOUNT OF MONEY IT IS UNBELIEVABLE. 2 PARKS AT ONE TIME TRULY GREAT AND ENOUGH THINGS TO DO TO AMUSE THE AVERAGE PERSON AND MORE THAN ENOUGH ROLLER COSTERS

I've been coming here all of my life, and I still never get tired of some of the rides. (I've promised myself that I AM going on the Xtreme Skyflyer this year...) Although I have to admit I'm getting a little irritated at how the Hypersonic XLC, which they advertised as "The only air-launched roller coaster in the United States! " was not open any of the times I went last year due to technical difficulties. I rode on it previously several times, and I was looking forward to experiencing this thrill again. Perhaps this inconvience will be evened out when they introduce the highly anticipated Dropzone, a ride reminescent of the Tower of Terror, in 2003. Be sure to bring your walking shoes, because there is a whole lot of acreage to be covered!

Pros: thrills, value, atmosphere

Cons: closed attractions, lines

2 Star Rating: Below Average

Sure this park is right around the corner, but the drive to Busch Gardens is worth it. Bubba Gump's is really the only good place to eat and even then it's hard to find clean seats. There is always at least one boken ride. Crowded doesn't even describe how packed to the limit this park gets. The water park is a joke.

Pros: The Grizzly, Old Time Photo, Backwards Rebel Yell

Cons: Restraunts, Bathrooms, Broken Rides

4 Star Rating: Recommended

Yes, it's expensive and crowded--but who doesn't love hanging out at Kings Dominion on a summer day? I loved the park as a kid (remember Yogi Bear's Cave and the King Cobra?), but it still maintains its charm now that I'm an adult.

Pros: All-day fun

Cons: Expensive
