OVERPRICED!!!. OVERPRICED!!!! My hair looks as if I went to someone's house and got it done. So they aren't awful but for $275 for individual braids, they should be perfect. I choose this salon because of the professional layout of the website and well thought out marketing. Although, the experience in the salon was decent, the end result and what matters the most (MY HAIR) is beyond poor. I wanted long and full individual braids. Not spacy, average braids. I'm not the type of girl who gets into cheap hair styles. I do have a professional job. The prices did stand out to my on the website but I figured I was going to look exquisite. Not so much. The owner would start my braids and then have "her assistant" braid all the way down. About half way up I questioned the assistant who I sat with me mostly about the spacing of my braids and she had the nerve to tell me that she did not know because she doesn't braid. I should've run out then. The worst part is that by the next day, the bottom of my hair was already unraveling. I went back in to get this fixed, thinking that the professional thing to do would have been to offer some money back for the inconvenience, however I did not even get an apology. To add to that, the owner was teaching a hair class and got her students to help her braid my hair down. Tacky! I'd say my braids are worth maybe $100. But considering that they already look a bit worn after only two weeks and they are not even what I wanted, I was robbed for my hard earned money. I HIGHLY recommend Bijou on Creighton Rd. They cost much less and do a superb job. The only reason why I didn't go this time was because of the location. But I’d take them any day over this con. Silly me! Trust me, this place is NOT worth your money.
