37.566582 -77.467931Greatest Place. We live very close to Bow Tie. It has been a great addition to the Boulevard. My family, which includes two children ages 8 and 6, love it! Movieland has put theater in an old train factory and they have keep many of the old beams and building intact. It is a very cool place to go to and see a movie. In fact, we rarely go anywhere else anymore.
First visit and NOT happy!. Went to see Alice and Wonderland in 3D, me and a friend of mine took our 2yr olds and had to pay pretty much adult price, then bought the expensive popcorn and drinks no problem. Once the movie started we realized that all the 3D glasses were the same size and were way to big for the kids, we had to hold the glasses on their litttle faces which in return they got frustrated, then an usher asked if the babies were ok? I said yeah if there glasses fit they would be. When the 2hour long movie was over we noticed childrens booster seats which would have been nice. I decided to let the manager about my concerns and his response was Quote "We have had no compaints so far" which I find it hard to believe since it was a Disney movie and you would think they would offer smaller glasses. I PAID 20.00 FOR 1 ADULT AND MY 2YR OLD TO SEE A 3D MOVIE WHICH HE WATCHED MOST OF WITHOUT THE 3D GLASSES. Never will go back, nore would I suggest children go when you can take your 2 yr olds for free to most other cinemas!
