Awesome. I went into Virginia's salon to get a trim., first time i had been there. I hadnt had my hair cut in over a year or died in over 2 years due to having horrible experiences at many places. I told her how i wanted my hair cut, she did an amazing job. Not many people can handle my hair b.c its long ,thick, straight on top and curly/wavy underneath. Once it came to color , i told her to do whatever she thought would look good. She gave me a slightly darker rich brown with some awesome caramel highlights! I was extremely pleased and have recommended this salon to many people!!! She also does an amazing job on men's haircuts as well. I watched her cut a couple of guys who came in while my hair color was proccessing and she did awesome with their haircuts! She is also very nice and makes sure you are comfortable while you are there.…
Thank you Virginia. I made an appointment for a blow-out before my cousin's wedding, but ended up running more than an hour late due to NOVA traffic. Thanks for fitting me in and making a very stressful day less hectic.
Unprofessional.
I tried this salon while I was in Richmond. Since I made my appointment at the last minute, I thought I would overlook the unprofessional behavior, like asking me to get on my knees and flip my head
into the shampoo bowl. I was not happy with my color and made an appointment to come back later in the week to have it corrected. I arrived for my appointment, after personally speaking with the owner to schedule it, and the salon was closed. The doors were locked and there was a sign that said it was closed due to illness - a phone call would have been nice.
I had to rush around the city, only to finally get my hair done at Scissors. The level of professional service I recieved there was unparalled.…
