Great Experience!. I came to Richmond a little over 3 years ago and I've tried several places but this is the best salon by far. Great atmosphere and friendly stylists. The shampooing was exhilarating! I bought some of the J Hollywood shampoo and I like the product. I would most definitely recommend the salon to others.

A Delightful Experience!!!!!. As a newcomer to Richmond I knew that I was going to be taking my chances in finding a hair stylist that I would like. I am so overwhelmed with my experience with Virgina that I just have to let others know how wonderful she is! Not only did she intuitively zero-in on what I needed as far as color and style, her personality was captivating. You just have to try her!

Awesome. I went into Virginia's salon to get a trim., first time i had been there. I hadnt had my hair cut in over a year or died in over 2 years due to having horrible experiences at many places. I told her how i wanted my hair cut, she did an amazing job. Not many people can handle my hair b.c its long ,thick, straight on top and curly/wavy underneath. Once it came to color , i told her to do whatever she thought would look good. She gave me a slightly darker rich brown with some awesome caramel highlights! I was extremely pleased and have recommended this salon to many people!!! She also does an amazing job on men's haircuts as well. I watched her cut a couple of guys who came in while my hair color was proccessing and she did awesome with their haircuts! She is also very nice and makes sure you are comfortable while you are there.

Thank you Virginia. I made an appointment for a blow-out before my cousin's wedding, but ended up running more than an hour late due to NOVA traffic. Thanks for fitting me in and making a very stressful day less hectic.

Unprofessional. I tried this salon while I was in Richmond. Since I made my appointment at the last minute, I thought I would overlook the unprofessional behavior, like asking me to get on my knees and flip my head into the shampoo bowl. I was not happy with my color and made an appointment to come back later in the week to have it corrected. I arrived for my appointment, after personally speaking with the owner to schedule it, and the salon was closed. The doors were locked and there was a sign that said it was closed due to illness - a phone call would have been nice.

I had to rush around the city, only to finally get my hair done at Scissors. The level of professional service I recieved there was unparalled.

I LOVE MY HAIR!!!. I was referred to VA Hair by a trusted mutual friend with amazing hair, and I wasn't disappointed....

Virginia is so personable; she immediately put me at ease, which honestly, is not that easy to do. I have very fine hair, but she didn't seem the least bit daunted and was able to work her magic. Her skills are so versatile, she's able to not only create more conservative haircuts, but was able to fulfill my requests for a more edgey look.

I only got a haircut this time, but will soon be going back for color.

BEST HAIR CUT I'VE HAD IN YEARS!. everyone just loved my hair and i loved the attention! i would advise anyone thats looking for a place to get hair done to definitly go to virginia hair to find affordable prices for high quality service, comfortable envirorment and hair everyone will be jealous of!
