Wouldn't step foot inside. The owner is a rude jerk, slob, and homophobe. No way I would eat food prepared by him or give him my business.

The Alamo is a interesting little shack not too far off broad street so you don't have to go very far from the bottom to get some amazing bbq food.
There hasn't been anything I've ordered that I've disliked. But by far my favorite is their mac-n-cheese, but watch out because sometimes it packs a kick with the jalapenos that are tossed in, but for me, this absolutely makes the dish. Well, cheese aside that is.
Their Bbq chicken is spot on, its tender and just perfect. Not too saucy, but just right.
I can't sing enough praises about this place. You should absolutely go try it.…
