In Short
Decades after introducing the world to Cajun cuisine, Chef Paul Prudhomme still serves the classic Louisiana foods and haute Cajun dishes that made him famous. Simple presentation is the rule. Menu items include blackened tuna and blackened yellowfin--a juicy, well-seared fillet. Eggplant pirogue seafood Atchafalaya is a flavorful fried vegetable shell stuffed with mixed seafood.

Native New Orleanian: Best creole cooking in town. Delicious basket of various homemade bread served immediately. Great place to celebrate anything!! If the restaurant is made aware of you celebrating something, a three piece brass band comes to your table to play a couple of songs just for you!!
Pros: EVERYTHING! Great food, friendly service (like you're at a friend's home), etc., etc., etc.
Cons: NOTHING!

My last name is Brocato...a well known name in New Orleans. My father was from Sicily and his brother, Diamond Jim Moran, was the infamous owner of La Louisiane. My relatives make Italian Ice Cream. I grew up knowing and loving great food and I promise you that you will not have a better dining experience in New Orleans!!! I've had dinner here numerous times but recently went to an Abita Beer Dinner here and it was AMAZING!!!!! $65 per person covered about 5 courses each at least 8 -10 beers and this included tax and tip. Occasionally I have been to wine dinners here and it's the same awesome experience for around $85 per person. However it's always worth every penny....really the bread alone would make me happy. Thanks K Paul for a wonderful and predictable experience time and again!!!!! We are going back tonight for a special occasion and I haven't eaten all day to prepare myself.
Pros: amazing food....all of the different warm breads
Cons: NONE
