The smoothies might be okay, but skip the food!. I had never been, but my neighbor has been raving over them for quite awhile. I decided to stop in for lunch to go because I was hankering for a wrap and I knew they had them.



When I walked in the line was so long I decided to go to the ladies room. Sparkling clean. Always a good sign, as is a long line. They have Boars Head signs advertising Boars Head soup and there are Boars Head meats and cheeses in the case. Also a good sign.



They had a Buffalo chicken wrap which is exactly what I wanted. It comes with light ranch - I asked for bleu cheese instead. No problem. I should have asked for something besides fat-free mozzarella too, but I'll get there.



Wraps are a whopping $5.99. Smoothies, the cheapest ones, are $4.59. Do the math. One could not afford to eat lunch at this place on too many days. The wraps are far from being big enough to share. I did not get a smoothie - the price of the smoothi alone is the price of an entire lunch at El Paso.



I get home eager to eat my wrap. Hard to break habit I guess, they used the light ranch which tasted more like a creamy Italian. But, I'm home and I'm not going back out. Cheese - totally devoid of flavor. There was not enough on there to even see, but I felt some on the side that had kind of melted into the wrap.



Wrap, apparently nuked for too long. It was like chewing on the napkin. The chicken, I can't even describe this chicken except to say it tasted like canned chicken. And not even a particularly good kind. They used romaine lettuce which is great if I'm having a ceasar salad, but a buffalo chicken sandwich or wrap calls for none, or iceberg. I would say the only decent part of the wrap was the tomato, which is not saying too much.



On the plus side, everyone was friendly enough and the music was good. But, not friendly enough for me to ever go back there again. I noted that the majority of people waiting in line were ordering smoothies, but at $4.59+ I'll be skipping those too.
