These people are crooks, they never fixed anything in the place, except the water heater and that wasn't even done right. The place has electrical problems,mold growing on the walls, porch is falling apart, and they only care about money.

Just horrible

This company is just flat out horrible. Nothing ever got fixed, and if it was attempted, it was botched horribly.
When I moved in, 2 windows were broken. I called for maintenance and they replaced the windows without putting anything other than glazing to hold them in. My daughter went to put some decals on the window and was able to push the window out of it's frame. There was exposed wiring in the kitchen... They left me a coverplate and two screws on the counter. There were pigeons nesting in the crawlspace, and repeated calls to them did nothing. We had vermin that they did nothing about.
This is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to all of the problems I had with this company... I could write a novel about how awful this apartment was.
Don't get one of their apartments unless you really dig the idea of living in a health hazard.

KRS is the worst company I've ever dealt with

This place is awful. They never do anything, I swear. I have asked them to fix about 5 things and they haven't done any of them. I asked them to fix my back window, which is broken and I have cardboard covering it, about 2 weeks before Thanksgiving. It is now March 3rd, and they still have not fixed it. I can't control the heating in my apartment. When it was 50 degrees outside, it would get up to 85-90 in my apartment, I would be sweating so much. Now its about 10 degrees at night and there is no heat at all. I wake up and I swear it's no more than 45 degrees in my room. There is also a rattt that lives in my apartment. My roommate called them and told them about it and their response was "Oh yes, we have this problem alot", and didn't even say that would do anything about it. The water in the shower works randomly. Half the time that I go to take a shower, there is no hot water at all and when it is hot, there is absolutely no pressure. They didn't clean anything before I moved in also. They place is disgustingly dirty everywhere. KRS is god awful and should not ever be a company.

Incompatable Inc.

First of all, they told us we could move in August 11. On August 9 they told us we couldn't move in until the 14th. We didn't know why until we looked at the apartment (they gave us the keys on the 9th) and the place was a complete mess! They had not even started to clean up! My room mate's step mom even spent another day cleaning up what they had failed to do. On top of that, the door has been beaten; you can see if the deadbolt is locked or not from the outside and it can easily be picked. One of the lights over the kitchen doesn't even turn on. The day we moved in they told us they would fix it within the week. It is now October 30 (2 months, 2 weeks) and they have yet to do so. They also told us we could change the locks at our own expense. My room mate did and Clachan told us that it was their responsibility to do so and we didn't have to pay a cent. It is also freezing in my room! I have set the thermostat to heat up to 70˚F but I wake up shivering every morning with three blankets on. Also, one of the neighbors is extremely noisy and disrespectful. We were told they were not ever supposed to be re-signed. After they got a notice, they have continued to be loud and disrespectful and KRS has done nothing yet about. This is simply ridiculous.

This company should be SHUT DOWN.

I have had nothing but headaches working with this company. As stated in another review, this company took over collections from Clachan, and ever since its been a nightmare. I get random overdue notices for things that are over a year old and were already resolved back when clachan still took care of the billing, along with other misc fees. They NEVER have somebody to answer the phone, so you have to leave a message, and they NEVER call you back. I remember leaving at least 4 messages with no call back. After this year's lease is up I am seriously considering moving somewhere else just so I dont have to deal with these people.
