Editorial Review for Arpa Tapas Wine Bar & Grill – by Staci Falkowitz

In Short
Located in the Interstate Tower, this upscale spot is a big hit with the urban professional set. The elegant decor screams "metropolitan," while the warm wood walls and close tables add an aura of conviviality. Chef Tom Condron specializes in tapas--small appetizer plates that are traditional fare in Spain--with both hot and cold selections on the menu, including empanadilla, jamon serrano and paella. An extensive wine list allows for interesting pairings.

My wife and I went here for our anniversary. I am a waiter and personal chef and found the service to be good and the portions perfect to enjoy good conversation. Monday night the bottles of wine are half-price. Definitely would go back for the atmosphere, the bread and dipping sauces.

Pros: Great wine list and ambience!

Cons: You won't get full in a hurry or for cheap

Pretty sad when you go to a tapas restaurant and the Sangria is the best item on the menu. All dishes were dumbed down for American taste. Don't expect one single dish to be authentic here. This place would not make Spaniards proud.

Pros: Sangria

Cons: Food
