Very bad service. This place has terrible service.

I called at 5 asking for a reservation and was told they were not taking them but would put my name on a list for 7. I arrived at 7 and wad told they had forgotten to put my name on "the list " but they would now and the wait would be about 45 minutes. I went back in at 7:45 and was told 15 more minutes. Between then and my seating at 8:30 I talked to several others who had called also and been told the same thing about "the list " that I was and guess what, they were left off "the list" also. I think "the list " is a ruse told you to get you off the phone and to come to the restaurant anyway. It is very unlikely that I will again. If you are told you will be on"the list" GO ELSEWHERE. The ladies running the front are many but but poorly organized and either don't know the turnover rate or don't care.

The waiter was ok, but poorly trained. When told about the list, he smiled and promised a manager, who never showed up. I ordered the chef's special swordfish with crab for $27. The crab was there but hard to find. The waiter was not organized and wasted trips to the table because of it. The Ceasar's salad was ok but nothing special at all especially when they charged $4.50 extra for any salad. My date's steak was ok but small. The place is noisy with poor acoustics. Just not a good place when my meal was $66 with one drink and no desert nor appetizer. Bad value.

Overall the worst place I been in in 5 years. I go out almost several times a week and would not come here again. There are too many places with good service.

Delicious Meal. My friend and I are new to the area and decided to try Firebirds for a nice dinner out, when we walked past it in the mall. We will be coming back for sure! The atmosphere was great and from the minute we walked in we felt relaxed. Our server was friendly and had great recommendations. I would recommend the Double Diamond Martini....delicious! And, mid-way through, our server came and replaced my glass with a newly frosted one. Awesome, I rarely see that done ever! We ordered the Lobster Spinach Queso (really great), and each got a salad and a filet. Our steaks were cooked just as we ordered, and were terrific! My only drawback was that it was raining outside, so we couldn't sit out on what looked like a nice patio area. We will be coming back....and our server told us there is another Firebirds in Midlothian, which we thought we'd check out too.

repeat customer. I eat here once a week for lunch or dinner at the bar. I recommend the durango or smokehouse burger, spicy chicken pasta or the appetizer chicken enchiladas. The service in the bar is great all the bartenders are attentive. They usually have a fire burning, sports on the tv and hearty portions. They have a happy hour monday thru friday and have food appetizer specials too! The chocolate peanutbutter pie is like 3 slices in one! I hesitate to give such a great review, because it could get too busy to get me in and out in 30 minutes when I'm in a rush.

Great place for the family!. My family and I visited Firebirds's for the first time last night, and were blown away with the food and the service. We arrived around 5:30 and were seated pretty quickly. The hostess was very friendly and the decor was very warm it felt like you were dining in a wilderness lodge. Our server was very good! He recommended the lobster queso, which we ordered and was delicious. I had the pork tenderloin and my husband had the bleu cheese filet. Both entrees were excellent! One of the things that really surprised me was how well they catered to our children. The kid's menu has a wide variety of choices. My daughter had the grilled chicken with mashed potatoes an fresh fruit, and my other daughter had macaroni and cheese with carrot sticks and cinnamon apples. (and we're not talking Kraft macaroni, this was penne pasta tossed in a cheese sauce). Our server asked if we wanted the kids order to come out as soon as it was ready, and always made sure that their drinks were full. Just when I thought that the evening couldn't get and better, another server noticed that our kids were done eating but my husband and I weren't quite finished. So she came over to our table to see if the kids wanted to go watch the chefs at the open kitchen. Overall we had a very relaxed and enjoyable evening and we'll definitely be back many more times to come!

LOUD!. Avoid this place if they are busy! Seated near the grill line, we could not hear table conversation because the kitchen staff was screaming so loud. 2 of the 4 orders were wrong and for that we waited over a hour and a half.

At least the server was TOP NOTCH!!!

Best Salad ever. A friend and I went there on a whim. Was very pleased with decor upon entering. Staff very pleasent and knowledgeable. The salad was served on a chilled plate along woth a chilled fork. for the money of the meal and the portion and service, one would think you are in a expensive resaturant. very affordable comfortable and very relaxing. the aroma of the wood grill is so wonderful.The loaded baked potato was fantastic. Plan on a return trip and bringing friends along

BEST Steak in Richmond. This place is wonderful.....they are the only place in richmond virginia that knows how to cook a steak. I recommend that everyone go here. Nice relaxing evening eating a nice delicious steak.
