Sell you broken merchandise and then steal that from you!
by B B Bryant at Citysearch
On 11/28/11, I entered the store to buy a heating bulb for my son's Hermit Crabs. I asked for the lowest wattage they had, and was given a 75W. I thought this was the correct one, but was informed by my son later in the day that this bulb would be too hot.
On 11/29/11, I tried to return the UNOPENED bulb with the original receipt. The owner opened the box, took out the bulb and said it was cracked. He then took the bulb, threw it away, and refused a refund. He said that he has too many people try to return burnt out bulbs, and I was committing return fraud!
This man took my money, and the bulb (preventing me from trying to work out a solution with the manufacturer), and called me a liar and a thief!
Disgusting!!!
Pet Safari Pup's are From Puppy Mills
by Lynn Milton at Citysearch
I am sorry to say that after purchasing my Puppy from Pet Safari, and through much research I found that my little Chihuahua was born in a Puppy Mill then transferred to a broker who then sold him to Pet Safari. He was shipped from the mid-west at 8 weeks old. On his first Vet visit he was found to have an upper respritory infection and put on antibiotics. He recovered and is just fine now.
The Vet that Pet Safari recommended to me was the person that informed me that he was so upset to be treating so many pups from Pet Safari due to the fact that they were Mill dogs and advised me that he wished people would do their homework prior to buying from an overpriced Puppy Mill Vendor and hooked me up with a very reptuable breeder endorsed by AKC. not the USDA.. Please be informed as I have purchased 2 more healthy Pup's locally and less that half the price with the same guarantee, and they were far healthier and of better confirmation. Just a warning to those who fell for the hype at the Pet Shop.
