great hair cut from "fresh talent"!... MARINA rocks!!.
I've been going to mango at libbie & grove for over 5 years, the past 3 times i swore i would NEVER go back. however, i needed a new cut so i gave it 1 last try. this time i went to the short pump location. i was given an appt with MARINA & almost cancelled because she was listed as "fresh talent". were they kidding me? the first 3 "master" stylists couldn't get it right & they thought someone new could?
Well, i decided to give her a shot & she was the BEST! i will never go back to libbie & grove... they've become pretty snobby & not at all the chic, laid back salon i was used to 5 years ago. the short pump location is though!
what i like about marina:
she's patient
understanding, realistic, and honest. i'm extremely particular and am attached to my long hair. she gave me a style without making me feel bad about keeping the length. why do stylists always want to talk you into short hair?? she didn't and i really appreciate that! i will definitely go back!!... to her.
Crystal????. Does anyone know where Crystal went? I really love her work, and would like to stay with her, and hope all is well with her.
Definitely will go back!.
Absolutely love this salon...the customer service both times I've been there was outstanding. My stylist was incredibly skilled, talented and took a lot of time to talk with me about my hair, what I wanted and made recommendations.
The first time I went, my cut was awesome and it grew in beautifully. My second visit for a trim was equally as satisfying!
I will definitely go back!
RUDE.
I called Mango when I was traveling into Richmond. As one of the larger salons in the area, I thought that I was ensured good service - WAS I WRONG!
They might be great at hair, I didn't even make it past the receptionist who was terribly rude when I called to schedule my appointment. The most important thing she seemed to be able to tell me was that I would have to see a "master stylist" and for the service I wanted it would be $350.00. Honestly, it wasn't even the price that bothered me, I would have paid it for a good experience, but when that is the only thing they care about....no thank you!
Not Sure If I Should Go Back....?. Perfect the first time.... second time around, the cut was average and not as good. I was bummed. Now I don't know whether or not to keep on going back and just try another stylist, or find a new place.
Can Any One Listen About Color?. I tried hard to be nice to my stylist even though I saw she did not do what I had asked her to! I literally ran from the salon that day, to go home and see just how bad the damage was. I did manage to get my money back. I think they are overrated with their prices. What kind of stylist needs 60 dollars to do a 15 minute hair cut?????
Fantastic!!. Wonderfull salon, clean, friendly, professional, cares about the client. LOVE the washing bowl chairs!! If you want an Aveda Salon go here, NOT SALON DEL SOL.
