my experience was great. i cant speak to the negative reviews but my experience with woodfins was great and i am very pleased.

I needed an engine for my daughters Mazda and found Woodfin's online. After talking to the sales rep I felt pretty comfortable making a sight-unseen purchase, but was still just a tad bit nervous. The engine shipped on time and arrived as promised. When my mechanic worked on the engine, he said that it was of super quality and that I had gotten a great deal - esp since I purchased the 3 year warranty. Before choosing Woodfins, I scoured the net only to find that Woodfins offered the best price, quality and warranty. At the risk of sounding like a commercial, I say "If you need an engine or any related part, start @ Woodfins " Thanks again guys!

Do Not Use or Buy Anything. I will not recommend this company to anyone. Please watch out I have been given two tranmission and pay twice to get it install. Tranmission is still bad. They are a bad company do not use them. They do not back up there product. Please be careful Woodfin Transmission in Richmond, VA.

The engine that wasn't..... Be careful when dealing with this business. I wanted to purchase a full engine. When pickup time came the company rep called and told me the engine was dissembled thus not to come. Well....they charged my account $525.00 anyway and have not issued any refunds to date. The charge occurred on December 2, 2010 and now it's December 14, 2010. I called December 13, 2010 and asked for the money to be refunded. No refunds attempted as of today's date. Will allow one more business day then I'll contact my bank and dispute the charge. For a company to provide this type of customer service is beyond me. Needless to say....I won't be using Woodfin's again.

DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE DISORGANIZED THIEVES!. Not only did it take 3 weeks for them to send out the used part - when I got it, it didn't even work! They refuse to send any receipt & apparently do not have modern computers that are capable of email! After 3 months I am still waiting for a refund which they claim is "to be issued" every time I call.

Don't do business with these people - they are liars & scammers. Please don't suffer my fate because Im out several hundred dollars for a faulty part!!
