Do Not Recommend. I give this one star for the cocktail that was $12 but pretty good size for the money. I've had quite a few people give great reviews and "love it". I am thinking they don't get out much. I had the lobster, it did not have any flavor, the side mashed potatoes were described to be creamy, buttery yummy. They were gross and covered in cheese. We did order the crab and artichoke dip with pita bread which was fairly good. But $60 for my meal alone....definitely not worth the price!

As someone spoke about the flies, I guess we can assume the bugs being on the water with food around, but we had a couple of flies; it was annoying and gross. The waiter was a bit off as well. Much better places in Midlothian/Richmond to eat. This one won't be on my recommendation list.

Not worth the money!. Well, I think the time we want to spend $270 for 5 adults and 1 child to eat a nice dinner we will go to Ruth's Chris Steak House. - the fried shrimp had a metallic after taste - ordered a filet cooked medium and it took an hour to receive a butterflied filet, how dissappointing

- wedge salad was good

- crab cakes were good

- ordered an appetizer that never came

Overall, I would there for the wedge salad and drinks and that is about it. Oh, by the way, service was poor. It took our waitress three times to deliver a cesear salad. She brought out the wrong salad twice. And, no they weren't that busy.

Every business that has been in this location can't seem to present and deliver an awesome quality menu.

OVERPRICED!!!!. I thought this was going to be a very nice experience. The restaurant is very pretty with a nice view of the water. When the food arrived, so did all the flys. We felt like we had to fight for our food the whole time, which was not that good. For what they're charging, they need to raise the quality of the food. $16.00 for a piece of shrimp, 1 scallop, and 1 bite of tuna with a mound of rice and noodles. I will not return. My husband left hungry because he didn't want to battle flys and stopped to get a burger somewhere else.

Great Location and that is about it. I have been going to the Boathouse since it was sunday's but recently i have become disappointed in the place. Very overpriced the service is average at best, The management team is really is not all together.

I order a steak and i came out undercooked, i ordered it medium and it came out more on the rare side. The server was almost bothered by the issue of having to return it and for the price i was very displeased.

The location is great the ONLY thing they have going for the place. I hope they can fix this before it become more of and issue.

Last they need to fix there computers or watch there wait staff more because twice i have had some credit card issues so i use cash now

Great Location. I went there last week with my kids to have a special night out and great view, over priced. I had the salmon that had no flavor it actually tasted like water. One of my daughters order the homemade chicken fingers which came out cold and the chicken finger's where very over done. I explained this to the manager on duty and she look confused about what I was saying to her and I felt she had no idea how to handle this minor situation that had occured. ended up just leaving and going somewhere else. Very saddened and will never return, have shared my experience with family and friends. Very sad!!!!!!!!!
