First & not last time here. This was our first time & we left wondering why we hadn't come earlier. Our son did not want Mexican, so he had chicken nuggets.

We had the Chicken Fajitas for 2 & XX. It was very good. The service was friendly & attentive. Would have liked just a little more flavor in the chicken. My wife said it didn't need it.

There was a white sauce (should have asked what it was) with the chips. VERY GOOD! My son loved it.

We WILL be back. Price was very reasonable.

MUY EXCELLENTE. I'm a chori pollo fan and am use to Rancho Grande in Chesapeake, VA they are 1 in the same. Thats a tough find I'm picky when it comes to my mexican food... You get spoilled when you live in south hampton roads theres more mexican resturants then 7-11's. By far Don Papa Grandee's is super yummy!!!

Best Mexican Restaurant By Far. My family and I moved to Chester a few years ago and fell in love with Don Papa. My family doesn't usually like Mexican, but the food and atmosphere there is unbeatable. We eat there at least once every one to two weeks. The staff is so friendly and the service is wonderful and when combined with the authentic Mexican cuisine, it is a must try.

Lo Mejor. We have been going there since the place opened and at first it was so-so. It has evolved into the best Mexican restaurant in all of Richmond. The wait-staff is exceptional and they even put up with my bad Spanish. The food is freshly prepared, served nice and hot and scrumptious. Try it when they have live Mariachi music for a real blast.

muy bueno. excellnet choice of restaurant, vert fast service, excellent quality of food. very good value for money. has a great selection of items in it's menu. excellent overall. highly recomended to everybody. if you want excellent food this is your number one choice.

excellent choice!. this is got to be the best mexican restaurant no question about it. please give it a try so you can find out why a lot of chester, richmond, colonial hgts, people are more and more raving about this excellent place to eat.

LIKE REAL MEXICAN FOOD AT A GREAT PRICE!. DON PAPA GRANDE OF CHESTER IS BY FAR THE BEST MEXICAN RESTAURANT IN THE RICHMOND AREA, BEFORE IT JUST TO BE THE BEST KEPT SECERET, BUT AS OF LATE IT SEEMS THAT EVERY IS FINDING OUT ABOUT THIS EXCELLENT RESTAURANT. NOT ONLY IS THE FOOD EXCELLENT, THE SERVICE IS GREAT, AND THE ATMOSPHERE IS VERY DIFFERENT FROM OTHER MEXICAN PLACES. THIS PLACE HAS ALSO GREAT MURALS PAINTED ON THE WALLS, AND ON THE WINDOWS. YOU HAVE TO GO TRIED THIS GREAT MEXICAN PLACE, BUT GO EARLY BECAUSE IF YOU GO LATE YOU WILL HAVE TO WAIT FOR A TABLE.
