Very Honest, reasonably priced service. Great place to take your computer for repair or virus removal. We have always had great service.
Not very good at fixing my computer. I took my computer in there because of a few minor issues. 3 MONTHS later I get it back and it is WORSE than when I took it in there. I have left messages for the owner to please call me and have not heard back from them yet. They lost all of my data that was on there, and most days I can not get it to turn on! I was hoping for a refund, but when I call no one answers the phone. I even was across the street and saw an employee there. So I called and watched her look at the caller ID and did not answer the phone! I went in and asked for the owner and was told she was out. I am tired of dealing with them, and have had to get someone else to fix my computer! SO Bottom line, 3 months and $280 later computer is WORSE than when I took it in there. AND another $80 later, to someone else, my computer is FINALLY fixed. AND it was a simple fix. Something Computer MD forgot to do! SAVE yourself and go elsewhere to get your stuff worked on. Also they sell CLEAR and push it on you as soon as you walk in the door!
Can't get anybody more honest than this.
I've been dealing with these folks since I moved to Richmond 5 years ago. They have always made me feel that they care. I had one machine that they could have charged me a lot of money to fix, instead they recommended to get a new one. I also brought my laptop in that wasn't getting online and they fixed it right on the spot and didn't charge me a thing!!!
They do take more time than they say, but that just tells me that they are busy and try to do a good job. Also I don't think that there are more than two technicians, so if you are looking for quick repair, take a chance somewhere else.
DO NOT TAKE YOUR COMPUTER TO THESE PEOPLE.
Do yourself a favor folks, and avoid Computer MD. What we were told would be a 2 day repair turned into an almost month-long ordeal.
We felt like our computer was taken hostage by these people, and have never dealt with such an unprofessional company before. Our concerns were not addressed at all, management was very rude. When we were FINALLY able to pick up the computer. Instead of taking responsibility for the numerous mistakes made and apologizing, the manager/owner blamed it all on a "bad employee."
Truly one of the most frustrating business experiences of my life.
