Best Derm in Richmond!. Dr. Jo Bohannon-Grant is by far the best dermatologist I've ever been to. I have never received such compassionate care from a medical office. She cares about the patient as a whole person as well as their dermatological needs. I would never think of going to anyone else to take care of my skin! Thank you Dr. B for being such a great person and doctor. Central Virginia wouldn't be the same without you taking outstanding care of us!

watse of my time. I made an appt after my friend told me that she went to the dermatologist and they really helped her with her acne. being that i did not have "bad" acne i never thought of going to the doc for it until she said what her dochad done for her. I choose to go to mid. dermatology b/c i knew where it was and it was a good location for me. My friend had gone to another place across town that i was not familiar with. I got an appt with stacy romero who is the NP therei i guess. she really did not take any time with me and i felt really rushed. she also did not seem to care- just looking at me like i should not be there. she gave me a lil brown bag full of samples to try and some coupons and sent me out the door. i tried the meds for a while with no results, just a lot of drying and burning in my throat?? anyway i went to the mall and bought a small 30 day kit of proactive and my acne problems were gone in about 5 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i wish i had done that in the first place!

Great Experience. Have been seeing Dr. Bohannon for several years and have had excellent experiences with her. I have utilized her for hair loss, reducing sun spots as well as treatment for pre-cancerous lesions. Have achieved excellent results. Would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Bohannon.

Superb Doctor. After being unhappy with my previous dermatologist, I went to see Dr Bohannon after a friend recommended her. I received the most thorough skin exam I have ever received. Dr. Bohannon answered all of my questions honestly. She didn't even try to sell me skin products (my pet peeve)! I will continue to use her for my care and will recommend her to others.

WOW!. I had heard that Dr. Bohannon was the best Restylane injector in town so I decided to give her a try. BOY WAS I GLAD! If I say so myself, I LOOK AMAZING! She used fewer syringes to make me look better than anybody else I had tried before. She knows exactly what you need and is an artist with her technique. She calls it 'a little bit here, a little bit there.'

I don't really care what she called it- all I care is that she didn't hurt me, I look better than I ever have, and she even charges less!

I WILL NEVER GO ANYWHERE ELSE! I LOVE THIS WOMAN!

Outstanding Compassionate Care. I brought my elderly mother who suffers from dementia to see Dr Bohannon for a skin lesion on her face. My mother is a difficult patient who doesn't sit still and gets upset easily. I have never received such compassionate care from a medical office! Even though we were very early, they took us right in so my mother wouldn't get upset. Dr. Bohannon asked the patient in front of us if she could see us first, and that person kindly agreed. Dr. Bohannon

must have magical powers because she put my mother right at ease and held her hand during the entire visit. She had a skin cancer on her face and instead of making us come back, she took care of it right then. I am very grateful and recommend her without reservations!

PHENOMENAL. My experiences with Dr.Bohannon-Grant have been phenomenal. She correctly diagnosed, and successfully treated my problem in my FIRST visit to her office; this was after a lot of wasted money spent on unsuccessful visits to a number of other Richmond area dermatologists and plastic surgeons. Years later, I won't even consider another dermatologist, and I HIGHLY recommend her to anyone I know who is in need of a dermatologist. Her bed-side manner is always professional and caring; her conversation absolutely puts me at ease. Her office staff has always been very friendly and professional even when they appear to be exceptionally busy. Her office setting is always immaculate. The waiting area is spacious and comfortable, but I rarely have to wait beyond my appointment time. Appointments have always been easy to schedule, and I actually look forward to my appointments with her. Dr.Jo's talent and knowledge are exceeded only by her kindness!

NOT SO GOOD - Staff is totally lacking in the customer servie department.. Dr. Bohannon is a very talented physician but her staff is terrible. If you call, be prepare to hold and then you will probably have to redial as I am disconnected almost every time I call. When you do finally get to talk to someone be prepared to deal with someone who is obviously having a bad day or are too busy to deal with the client. When you are finally able to get an appointment and get to the office - be prepared to wait and wait and wait. Then when you go to check out and pay the staff will treat you as if you were a customer at McDonald's no matter how much money you are shelling out for your service(s). After 10 years I had to move on to Dr. Niamtu. My time and my money is too valuable to me to go someplace and be treated poorly when I'm paying those type of fees.

The best in town, and I've seen them all. I have been to a couple other dermatologists in Richmond (who will go unnamed) and found them unfriendly, brisk, and with exceptionally long waiting lists. The one I vistited prior to Midlo Derm left me with lots of unanswered questions-just another patient in a very long line. However, on the recommendation of a friend, I tried Midlothian Dermatology, and never have I been so happy to see a doctor! I had a weird cyst on my face, and after discovering I would have to wait almost two weeks to see my usual derm, I walked into Dr. Bohannon's office and was pleasantly surprised to find they could see me right away! Stacy Romero, who I have seen four times since, was absolutely wonderful; she immediately diagnosed the problem, stuck a needle in my "monster", and the darn thing was gone the next day. She and the entire staff at Midlo Derm are incredibly friendly, calming, and have great senses of humor, which I really appreciated when I had a giant cyst on the side of my face! She also answered all my questions, and made me feel like she cared about me as a person. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Midlothian Dermatology. I was having a problem and needed to see a dermatologist ASAP. I called my previous dermatologist and since I had not been there in almost 2 years was told I would be considered a new patient and that I would have to wait 10 months for an appointment!! I panicked and called my GP for a referral and she recommended Stacy Romero, nurse practitioner at Midlo. Dermatology. I called and had an appointment within 3 days. I was very impressed and my diagnosis was for a very rare condition. Stacy was relentless in getting to the bottom of it and treating it. I have referred EVERYONE I know who is in need of a dermatologist to her. I live in Hanover so I had to travel a ways to get to her office, but it was well worth it. I have been back several times for other things.
