Terrible place for large group parties

unforgettable experience - in a bad way!

I was a part of a large group and although we waited about an hour to get food on the table, that wasn't the worst of it! Waitresses were OK overall. However the owner added 3 alcoholic drinks to our tab and wouldn't admit his fault. When we disputed the charges, he threatened to call the police! We ended up paying only what we consumed (this process took about 1 hour!!!!) but the owner informed us that he's going to withhold all but $5 of the 18% gratuity we HAD to pay to cover for the drinks we never ordered therefore refused to pay for. The owner stiffed the waitstaff so that $5 was all they were getting as a tip.

If you decide to go, review your bill carefully!

Tasty thai, nice patio

I eat here every now and again and I always enjoy it. I've tried about 5 Thai places in Richmond and I think that it has the best food in comparsion to the few I've tried. The food is great and the food prices are reasonable. The green curry is amazing and I have a hard time ordering anything else. The service is good, every time I go the same waiter is there (need to find out his name) and he has LOTS of personality. I love the patio and the upstaits eating area is nice, the downstairs area is so-so. The main cons are the expensive drinks (in the range of $5 for a tiny glass of wine) and the parking.

• Cons: Expensive drinks, hard to find street parking on busy nights

Excellent food and service

The food is consistently good. The wait staff is friendly, and the food always comes out quickly. The large patio offers plenty of outdoor tables to enjoy the Carytown atmosphere.
