Welsey at Look Salon – I started going to Welsey Mourino at Look Salon about 8 months ago and I love her.
I've lived in Carytown for 7 years but passed the salon by just like the other person on here said. It's very unassuming from the outside, but once you go in it opens up and is modern and tasteful.
A friend recommended Welsey so I took a shot. I went from a longer haircut to something short. I was relieved when it came out just as I described it to her.
Overall, cute location. Friendly staff. Request Welsey!
Look is the place to go! – Rhoda is amazing! She gives good hair! She fixed a haircut gone bad and I only trust her with my style now.
I've Stopped Searching – I have visited many salons from DC to Richmond and always left feeling less than satisfied. Not anymore - Charlene is incredible and so is the rest of the staff at Look! I recommend this salon if you are looking for a stylist.
The best skin care services in Richmond. Period. – Audrey and the rest of the staff made me feel right at home. She was easy to talk to and the facial services were relaxing and thorough. As a new customer I would recommend her in a heartbeat, which I'm doing now, right?
Friendly, and professional salon – I too, followed my previous stylist Carylee to Look. The salon staff was welcoming the second I walked through the door. Friendly staff and very professional stylist who made me feel comfortable. Carylee is great at working with the hair you have and showing off the beauty of it. I have curly hair and she did a wonderful job, so I plan on returning in the future. The salon itself is two stories with chairs downstairs and upstairs. I don't mind paying more money at Look compared to a hair cuttery, because Look doesn't make you feel like just another persons hair to cut. The only downfall is it's lack of parking from it being in the heart of Carytown.
Fun, friendly and reasonable – I followed Rhoda from her previous digs to Look. I was skeptical of the address, in the heart of Carytown, but once you walk in the door you can forget that and just read a magazine while you get a great haircut. I am not a salon goer so often I am turned off by Salon's but this one is good.
