Cavalier Telephone is a great alternative to Verizon, Sprint, or other national phone carriers in the Richmond area. Their prices are much lower for the same service and features, including free voicemail, Caller ID, etc. The customer service reps (both the call center and their technicians) are friendly and professional. Their internet/DSL features do leave something to be desired, though. DSL is not available in many areas, and dial-up is slow. PROS: Customer service and price. CONS: Internet/DSL services are limited.
