Star-lite, Star-brite!. Star-lite Dining & Lounge is located on the corner of Robinson street and Main street in the Fan neighborhood. It has a beautiful enclosed patio on the exterior of the establishment.

Star-lite Dining & Lounge features special days like Western Wednesdays where Country & Western music is played all night. Tuesday is a day for the rails. Rails are the beverage of choice. Thursday is 2 for 1 burgers. So, bring a friend and have big juicy burgers for two. Sunday night are all request nights. You request the songs, they play the song and the video.

There is always something happening at Star-lite Dining & Lounge. The staff is a veteran crew that is professional and courteous. The food is tasty and flavorful. I particularly like the sauteed spinach, macaroni & cheese, and the burgers. I get chopped cooked bacon with the macaroni & cheese.

So, check out Star-lite Dining & Lounge and enjoy the patio, the tasty food, the big high quality HDTVs, and the great customer service. You will not be disappointed.

Favorite Place in the FAN!. I love Starlite! It's a local fav for a reason! The staff is friendly and the food is great... Enchilada Tuesdays people! Starlite is the kind of place you can take your family for a meal or dance the night away with your friends... BY FAR MY FAVORITE BAR IN THE FAN!

Most attractive bar in the Fan. Star-lite Dining and Lounge is the most attractive bar in the Fan. The booths and the bar look great and the TVs are situated perfectky. The porch seating out front is nice as well.

Bartenders like Carrie and Ashley provide excellent customer service with a smile. They work very fast and are pleasant to talk too.

The music is good and loud at nights. I do not care for the "I hate my family" angry style of music on Sunday nights. Also, it would be nice to hear more mainstream Rock and Roll but overall it is good.

One male bartender is a little aggressive taking your order behind the bar with forceful fingerpointing but he is a very hard worker. My mixed drink made by him could use more of the mix I like in it.

They have good Happy Hour specials and Tuesday nights draw crowds as big as weekend nights.

Star-lite Dining and Lounge is the best bar/restaurant in the Fan. Go there. You will not be disappointed.

Bar, not a restaurant. Go here to drink and get drunk. This is not a restaurant. The only reason they serve food is because it is required by law. You will smell like a cigarette after you leave.

Not worth one star. The fact that the menu is 8 pages long should be your first red flag. There's way too much on the menu for them to get much, if any of it right. Not only was the food terrible (stay away from the Cuban platter, the pork was dry and I had to choke it down with a syrupy margarita, void of any tequila) the wait staff was rude and inattentive. I don't want to be pestered all night but some updates on when our food would be arriving would've been nice. The place wasn't that crowded and we still waited over an hour for our food.

I'll never give this place another chance to see if it's even a good watering hole. Our server couldn't even tell us what beers were on tap. What a dump.

yuck!. I like how the "Crab Bennie" says on the menu that the crab cake is served with lump crabmeat and Canadian bacon. The truth is that it is served with frozen smashed cheap claw meat and sliced sandwich ham (the kind that is all blended together then reformed as a ball then cooked) not the real stuff, which is taken from the lean, tender eye of the loin. Not to mention I have a feeling that the hollandaise sauce came from a can. An egg Mc.Muffin would have been better and more honest. I just think when you take your hard earned money and decide to go out, you should get what the menu says you are ordering.

love the happy hour-great mixed drinks. Great place to release steam from the office(i hate LQ's). Love the plain philly cheese steak w/ potato salad. Good place for crowd watching. Great Service-I miss my girl Kat.

Authentic latkes in a beer bar? Believe it.. The Scene
Don't let the new name throw you--it's still the same Fan corner beer bar with some of the best eats in town. Regulars nurse brews at the bar, crowds celebrate in a corner and couples cozy up in booths from lunch till the 2am closing. Smokers can puff freely here--if that's a problem, hang out on the patio when warm weather arrives. It's packed with people-watchers on hot summer nights.

The Food
New ownership and a new name doesn't change the mood or the premise of good food. The burgers are thick and juicy, the meatloaf comes with homemade mashed potatoes and the "True New York Reuben" is smeared with tomato paste, not Thousand Island dressing. And yes, this is the place to get authentic homemade latkes. A platter of three large crispy fried potato pancakes scattered with chopped green scallions comes with crocks of sour cream and applesauce that rivals any NYC deli. Sunday brunch? Choose pancakes, Benedict of the Day, Southern chipped beef on toast or blintzes.

Ah..er..it's a bar. If you are looking for great food and a quiet evening, this ain't the place. Food is decent but not extraordinary. However, if you want to have a few adult beverages and party with the young, pierced and tatooed crowd not a bad place. Enjoy having a beverage here on a regular basis. Bartenders are a laugh riot and do a great job.
