The Coliseum, A.K.A the Freezer, always has Richmond seeing stars.. The Skinny
The Richmond Coliseum, the area's major indoor sports arena, also hosts the circus, the NCAA playoffs, ice extravaganzas, and big concerts--anyone or anything that attracts a big crowd. A walk around the building before show time will give you a sense of Richmond's diversity, from the modern Convention Center connecting the Coliseum to downtown to J. Sargent Reynolds Community College to older neighborhoods nearby.

Things You Should Know
Don't bring a video recorder or food into the coliseum--neither are allowed. There are plenty of concession stands, however, so you can get your hotdog or soda fix while you're there. There aren't any ATM machines located inside the building.
