Editorial Review for Orrapin Thai Cuisine – by Allison Austin
The Scene
Step inside and be transported by the cool, exotic decor: This isn't a typical Thai place with cafeteria furniture. It's clear from the friendly greeting, the gentle pace and the art on the walls that culture is important to staff and owners.
The Food
Freshness has been a bragging right for years, and continues to take salads--like Yum Talay with prawns, scallops, squid, mussels, lime juice and peppermint--to inspired heights. While it's safe to order basics like pad Thai or spring rolls, this is a good place for daring to steer off the beaten menu path. Fire breathers should take on the hot basil beef. For a new take on an old favorite, try the Shoo Shee Pla--salmon cooked in red curry with coconut milk and Thai basil. Stir-fried noodle dishes can be heavy and overly oily.

We are new to QA and enjoy Thai food quite often and I requested and traditional thai dish not usually represented on most of any menus. When Iasked for the dish called Prah Ka Proh (sp) they were able to make it! Even with an egg and fish sauce. I WILL BE RETURNING ON A WEEKLY BASIS.Due to their flexibilty and ability to work outside the box! The food was unbelievable as well.
