Great Galaxy!. I had a great experience at Galaxy. We were seated promptly, fed promptly, and were back shopping in Carytown in no time. The fried pickle that came with every meal was a great touch and the space theme was fun. There was a great diversity of people around, but I must say my best memory was the signs on the bathroom doors - Elroy for the boys and Judy for the girls. I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a quick stop without the monotony of fast food.
One of the city's best '50s sci-fi interiors comes with an out-of-this world martini..
A space theme and fried pickle intersect at the Galaxy Bistro. Silver and blue colors dominate the '50s sci-fi kitsch at this narrow bar with comfy sidebooths. The back room is more spacious and non-smoking, but the bar area is more vibrant.
Three parts gin, one part vermouth and an olive, served in a special glass. It doesn't sound so complicated, but with 15-20 types of martinis on the menu, it might be the most discussed drink in the bar. Try the cosmopolitan at least once. Featuring all top-shelf brands, it will get you where you want to go.
Great Food!!!!. I never went to it before when it was a hotdog stand, but now they serve gourmet food that melts in your mouth. If you like fine dining and excellent food, try this place!
