Located on the James River, course architect Steve Smyers designed 89 bunkers, rolling hills and undulating greens into the Bend's links-style layout. Known for its immaculate bent grass greens, the course offers four tee boxes to accommodate players of all skill levels. With a par of 71, overall yardage from the blue tees measures 6,671.



Water Hazards


The course takes advantage of the marshy and curvaceous landscape to add an element of natural difficulty. The views of the James are beautiful, but proximity to the water can cause some troublesome crosswinds. Like most public courses, no caddy service is available, but the greens fees do include a cart. Pro Rick Bealert is available for individual and group lessons.
