Been there a few times, love the atmosphere, food & Impeccable service. Not your average Steakhouse. Staff is well trained. Love it!

We have been enjoying eating at Wagstaff's Steak House for more than 25 years. The meals are even more delicious today than they were back then; however, the steaks and the service are the reason we have been going there all these years. It's our favorite go to place for family celebrations and just having a night out. Keep up the great work Danny.

This is my favorite restaurant! Has been for the last 14 years. Service and food is excellent. Love the salad bar!

The negative reviewers don't seem to understand what they're talking about. (Several reviewers complain about not finding the soup, but it's always right to the left of the salad bar!)

This place isn't about elegant dining, it's about excellent food. They've been family owned for over thirty years, and the grill-chef has over 20 years experience. If you want great food without in a relaxed setting, this is definitely worth the trip.

Wonderful Evening of terrific food!. My husband and I went to Wagstaff's on Friday Dec 30, 2011 for our anniversary dinner. When we walked in the front door we were greeted very pleasently and seated without delay in a quiet alcove. Our server (Amber) was a delight..you really need to ask for her when you go!! When looking at the menus, you need to read them because the selections are delicious! Yes, the menu is a bit limited..however, that allows them to truly perfect your choices. We found the steaks fork tender (no knives needed!), salad bar had some surprisingly delicious choices & the homemade vegetable soup that night tasted like my own! All in all, we had such a lovely evening at a very fair price (we were shocked it was so low for what we had - appetizer, a full bottle of wine, 2 10 oz New york Strips and dessert all for $85.00)!! My husband and I are akready making plans for our next evening at Wagstaff's:)

Spend Your $$$ Elsewhere!!!. If I could give this restaurant a negative rating, believe me, I would! I don't mind spending a little extra money for "fine dining", where you get what you pay for, but Wagstaff's charges Morton's prices for sub-standard food and service.

If you like a $12 "all you can eat soup and salad bar" that consists of shredded iceberg lettuce, the likes of that you get on a taco, fake bacon bits, fruit "fresh" from a can, and maybe a handful more items that are not worthy a $12 price tag, then by all means try this place. So, they come to your table with a cart of meat for you to choose your steak, and each additional ounce you order is an extra dollar on top of a $20.95, 8 oz steak. When I tell him I want a 10 oz steak, there is no way he knows that I'm getting a 10 oz steak without actually weighing it. For $22.95, I've got an extremely thin 10 oz. steak, baked potato, crappy salad bar, and all the Texas toast I can eat, that is, if it ever was delivered to our table, after asking more than 3 times (nope, it never came). The only sides offered are potatoes cooked three different ways - French fried, baked, or hashed. The butter for the potato happened to be the end of a stick of butter, definitely not my idea of fine dining.

There were only 2 servers for the entire restaurant, which meant the service was definitely not worth the 20% gratuity they automatically add to parties of 7 or more. They counted my 15-month-old as the 7th person to get the 20% gratuity. We didn't order a meal for her, so she shouldn't have been counted. My daughter doesn't eat very much, so there was no justification for spending $9+ on a meal from their so-called children's menu. Someone took my husband's plate before he was finished. There wasn't adequate space or a changing station in the restroom; AND the path to the restrooms was blocked by a large patron sitting at a table nearby. Another couple in our party was splitting their meal, and they had to go to the kitchen to get a second plate, even after asking. They screwed up our bill so badly that we waited an additional 30-45 minutes for them to get it straight, and even then, it wasn't correct. When the cashier initially brought us the bill, she made the comment of "better late than never." I really don't think that's an appropriate comment in this situation. They claimed the bill was correct because 4 meals corresponded to the 4 people on the check, when we only ordered 2 meals and an extra pathetic salad bar and potato. We had a coupon for buy one entree and get the 2nd entree of equal or lesser value 1/2 off, which they applied to the extra salad bar, instead of the 2nd entree, and then the very same lady who made the earlier comment of "better late than never" then stated "they gave us a break because they should have technically took it off the $3.50 charge for an extra potato."

There is absolutely nothing special. Wagstaff's could benefit greatly from a total overhaul of the decor and menu. Please, please, please spend your money elsewhere. For $25+ per person, I could prepare a better tasting, better quality, better value meal than anything you would find at this restaurant.

Fresh fresh fresh!. Wagstaffs is awesome! Ignore the negative reviews and give this place a try. I have been eating here for years. Its a quaint little place with nice table linens. They roll out this cart with these huge sides of beef, a butcher knife and some plates. If having steak, they ask if you would like Ribeye or NY Strip and how much...they cut a piece of the beef right there at your table and ask how you want it cooked. You can get any fresher than that. Plus, they cook it on an open fire grill. It really is amazing. It is the best steak we have eaten at any of the big named restaurants. Its definitely NOT tasteless like a couple reviews indicated. We should all support local businesses like this! Excellent job Wagstaffs...see you soon!

Overrated. Steaks had no flavor, salad bar was a joke, shredded lettuce out of a bag, no soup at the salad bar. Will not go back...

Wagstaff Steak House. Overrated

Left over soup from day before. Did not bring out the French Onion before the entree. Steaks were tasteless.

Lettuce was shedded- thought that was for Mexican Restaurant.

Steaks were cut with no gloves on, while meat cutter handled paper and pencil.
