The Scene
The attentive staff patiently guides you through the menu as you settle in. Cloth-covered tables, rattan chairs and numerous plants create a comfortable aura for authentic ethnic foods.
The Food
Where can an "exotic food lover," a meat-and-potatoes man and a vegetarian all dine happily at the same table? The traditional Filipino appetizers (lumpia, empanadas, mole) are traditional yet spicy enough to cover all taste ranges. The meat-and-potatoes man can go for the barbecue on a stick or bistik (marinated beef sirloin, pan fried and topped with caramelized onions). The house special, guinatang gulay (string beans, squash, eggplant, bitter melon, pork and shrimp cooked in a spicy coconut sauce), will satisfy exotic tastes and vegetarians will love the stewpot of the sauteed seasonal veggie dish (guisadong gulay). Order separate desserts just because they are so good, but expect to share; these include a really rich flan, banana fritters and imported Filipino ice cream (coconut or mango).

Very nice friendly atmosphere- very friendly staff. Its feels like your at home with the family. Decorated nicely to fit the filipino culture. A fine dining restaurant, not pricey but more upscale than other Filipino restaurants I have seen in Virginia. It has a solid Filipino and non-Filipino following. They even have a live karaoke entertainment for those people who loves to sing. Overall the Food is Great so as the service!

Good food, great service in this nicely decorated restaurant. However, I would have liked to see more traditional authentic filipino foods.
