Disappointing Place.
Breakers is good because it's one of the few places that stays open till last call. I used to frequent this place earlier but started noticing that one of their bartenders, a plump guy who has a hulk hogan type moustache has been acting pretty aggressive with many customers. I still don't know his name.
I have seen him pushing men and even women, anyone whom he doesn't like out of the bar. The other bartenders seem fine and helpful but this guy surely seems to be crossing limits and making the place highly unwelcome. On the Karaoke nights I have noticed more lesbian groups so it's hard to find someone if you are straight.. lol.
This was a nice hangout earlier, I mean the prices are decent and the location is convenient. This bar allows smoking too. All it needs is for the management to take notice of the hulk hogan wannabe and things should be fine.
CHEAP BEER, GREAT SERVICE. I love love love this bar!! Wed. is kareoke night and they have dollar beers mon.-thurs. untill 7pm.Can't beat it! I'm a 23 years old female, the age range differs. I'm so comfortable there. Love it!
Cheap beer.....and shots.
Last of the hole in wall bars... a dying breed Im afraid. Yes you might have to have some backup at times but if you like the idea of hanging out without the usual 21 year olds this is like a Cheers for the working man and its not red neck .. well not all the time.. warning professional drinkers only...and dont even ask for a Martini... it just upsets the Lady Bartenders.. I think I have seen norm there.... definately not Frazier. It is what it is... and 4 buck pitchers on some nights makes up for all the 5 dollar glasses at some other fancy smancy places. It actually has people on sundays in the afternoon. Oh now I remember... gin mill... a lost tradition in todays sports bars.
No plasma tvs... and loud Juke box... kool! And the wings aint bad either.
Bring your game face, because you'll be playing some sort of game, if you're not watching the 32 televisions..
The Scene
Yes, that's correct ... 32 televisions. These are for true sports nuts, but if you're not, don't worry. Breakers hosts live rock and folk most nights Tuesday through Sunday (for a measly two bucks). So the sports fan can watch one of the thousands of sporting events and you can socialize at a real-live nightclub. Not bad. Wanna shoot some pool? How about a quick game of darts? Or obtain a stack of quarters and let the arcade-fun begin.
The Draw
Everything from pub-grub to real-deal meals, Breakers wants to be a restaurant too. Still, the main reason people come here is the entertainment. Those looking for fun usually find it. Who's going: A jumping singles scene keeps the Breaker's crowd fresh and sometimes younger than you may think for a sports bar. The overflow, aftershow crowd from Innsbrook brings in a healthy mix of people as well.
