In Short
The much-copied look of hardwood floors, decorative stained glass, checked tablecloths, brass rails and walls filled with knickknacks has been a staple at this restaurant franchise. Originally a hit for its frisky bar scene, Friday's is now known just as much for its kid-friendly entrees. The menu alternates between typical American fare (salads, potato skins, Angus burgers and grilled chicken) and modestly international cuisine like fajitas, wraps and pot stickers.

Insider Tips
What to DrinkWith 18-ounce glasses, you might only order one. Friday's is known for its comprehensive drink menu, so try something a little unusual, like the June Bug--made from Midori, coconut rum, banana liqueur and pineapple juice.

Friday's has a great menu selection for steaks, ribs, shrimp and chicken all mixed in with their jack daniel's sauce to create some great meals. I would suggest the Jack Daniel's sampler. It gives you the best of all that they offer. The pastas and salads are also great and provide plenty of food leftover. The drink menu is sufficient and delivers HUGE glasses. If you do get a top shelf, that may be all you need that night! In addition, the atmosphere is loud and busy on friday and saturday nights. If you want to come in on a calm night, i would suggest mid week (Tuesday or Wednesday). If there is a sports game on, anticipate having tons of people in the bar area (smoking section). If you are going on a friday or saturday night, expect a wait (even waiting outside). The wait staff can be very nice. Try not to get a seat close to the bathrooms or kitchen area on a busy night; you will not enjoy your night. Best to go with a large group. Not kid-friendly on friday or saturday nights.
Pros: great bar, atmosphere, group dining, menu
Cons: parking, prompt seating, not kid-friendly on weekends
