Mean Lady. The food is good but the service has been sub-par the last dozen times I have been here. I am very dissapointed to have to write this. One of the nicest guys used to work at the front and I haven't seen him in months. He knew me when I called and when I came in and was always nice! Now a crabby mean old lady works there and told me a 9min drive was too far and that they only deliver within 3 miles. This is not true. When I lived at home they used to deliver to me and that was just as far away. Also there are really not that many homes near this restaurant. It is in a shopping center surrounded by shopping centers. We live in Bon Air... right behind this place!! We tip over 20 percent even when we pick-up so they should know it would have been worth it. Not to mention they charge a mandatory delivery charge. The last time we dropped by they gave us nasty looks so we left. Literally I went to this place 3-4 times a week. Very angry!‎

Mediocre Chinese Food. I ordered take out on a Tuesday evening and was surprised to learn of a ten minute wait, very fast! I ordered beef sticks (bland and over-cooked), hunan chicken (lack of spices), fried noodles (over-cooked) and pork fried rice (over-cooked pork, lack of flavor). The bill was $35, which I feel was over priced given the lack of overall quality and flavor.

I always come back to Jiang's!. For example, I tried another Chinese restaurant down the street the other day. As I was eating their version of Chicken Cashew, I kept wondering why I didn't just eat at my favorite spot Jiang's?

Their prices, ambience, quality of food, and service, is really the best. The atmosphere is updated and modern but still has a coziness to it.

I eat out a lot for work and pleasure, and Jiang's is really a sure bet for Chinese food in Richmond.

Best Chinese cuisine in Richmond. I've never reviewed a place before. In fact, I have been wanting to for a long time...but alas, never did.

I like a lot of restaurants. I am commited to very few. One that I am committed to is Jiang's. My wife and I first went there shortly after it's grand opening. We continued to visit......weekly. Then we moved and lifestyles changed so we couldn't go as much. Nonetheless, we go as much as possible. The food and service is alwas good. The atmosphere is great. I can honestly say that this is one of the best restaurants in Richmond.

Richmond's best Chinese. This surprisingly lovely place in a faceless little strip center across the road from Myrna's Boots and Bits has food far superior to any other Richmond Chinese restaurant. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the food is fresh and perfectly prepared every time.

The pan-fried dumplings are delicate and served with an excellent version of the classic soy and ginger sauce. The excellent Moo Shu is presented with pancakes that are the real thing, not the horrid soggy tortillas that pass for wrappers in some other places. The Tung Ting Shrimp is simply out of this world. Large, briny shrimp are combined with fresh broccoli, water chestnut, perfect little mushrooms, and egg white in a subtly balanced white sauce. And the things they do with eggplant are a revelation. We try to get there at least twice a month...and always wonder why there aren't lines out the door. Go!

Best Chinese restaurant in Richmond.. The mildly elegant atmosphere is perfect for a nice quiet evening dining out with your wife or special friend or with friends. The food is always cooked to perfection. Prices are very reasonable, and the wait staff are friendly, courteous and attentive. My wife and I always enjoy eating out at Jiang's. If you like really great Chinese food and want atmosphere to go with it, this is the place for you.

Consistantly good food and service. I've eaten here many times and introduced quite a few friends (some quite picky) to this restaurant. The food is always first rate. The service is always prompt and friendly. I have yet to have anyone that I've introduced to this place disagree that it is the best in Richmond.
